In this book, software architecture is explored from its two most significant qualities: structure and behavior. The structure of the software plays an important role in software development; it determines the behavior of the software. The structure covers modules, functions, classes, services, and boundaries and encompasses the system itself. But most times, developers often make the mistake of concentrating more on the behavior of the system while the structure comes last.

While traditional schooling doesn’t address such questions, it’s exactly what ancient schools of philosophy were all about: They taught you how to live. Even though these schools don’t exist anymore, you and I and most people are in as much need of a philosophy that guides us through life as we ever were. This is a great book !
This is a great book for anyone who finds themselves rehashing the past rather than enjoying the here and now. The author casts a wide net of potential issues and corresponding solutions. For me, this was a great introduction to the topic. More importantly, the book has given me tools to focus my thinking on more productive topics.
