About this listen

What would you do if you woke up to a different life?

Because that’s what happened to me.

I woke up in a hospital bed with my family and friends telling me everything I knew was nothing more than a coma-induced dream.

The girl I love. The baby we’re having … all of it ripped away.

In their place is a house I don’t recognize and a girl I’ve never seen before who’s claiming she’s my fiancée.

To everyone around me, it’s clear my mind twisted around my real life to create a false one. As weeks pass and a few crucial memories return, it’s easy to see they’re right. Now I’m terrified about what I’ll learn next.

The last thing I remember before waking up in the hospital was losing the girl I loved and breaking her heart. Even though it’s the one thing no one can connect to my real life, it’s the one thing I can feel is true.

But I’ve just started falling in love with my fiancée all over again, and I’ll do anything to keep that memory from turning into my reality.

Drama, love, and emotional

I dove in the alternative story of Chase. I wanted to know how it would be not being with Harper but man, what a turnaround. I truly was on the edge of my seat and wanting Chase to remember something. I think it’s best to read/listen to this as long you are a Chase’s fan. I believe the audiobook narrators, Liam DiCosimo & Zura Johnson, did kick up a notch! They did perform well on this emotional rollercoaster of love. It must have been tough to get into their core of all the fells but I believe they did a fantastic job! The mystery, the angst, and the yearning for them to figure they crap out is my kind of jam (Complicated and redeeming hotness of Relationship). Yup, I did check this off my list with full satisfaction.

Great mystery love story

Great storyline, it kept me guessing and on the edge of my seat. Good twist at the end and a happy outcome. This is exactly what I needed. Good going Molly and talent!

I didn’t want to like this

I wish they’d used the same female narrator as the Trusting Liam book but other than that it was good. I listened to the others and I was a huge Brandon Harper fan so when I saw this I was like there’s no way this book can be good. It was. Worth sticking out through the breathy narrator.

Wow

I was reluctant to start this book because I was so in love with Harper, Chase, and Brandon’s story… and then on to Liam and Kennedy’s. I am so glad I did! As usual, Molly did a fantastic job. I was pulled into it immediately! Now I’m finding myself wishing Molly would write Chase and Scar’s story from beginning to the accident. How beautiful would that be?!

WOW! Molly has done it again!

Took me a couple chapters to wrap my head around what was going on in this story. From the first page I was enraptured! Thank you, Molly, for giving us this alternative ending!

Kind of disappointed but it is a different universe

I loved the story. The twists and turns and the final ending but I missed passionate Chase. I don’t want to spoiler this but the other Chase expressed more emotions. In fact I think the female character in this was much more passionate. I did get frustrated with her and the other characters even yelled at them but I dealt with losing a loved one having dementia and loss of memory.
I will say this is probably the first book of Mollys I didn’t cry through. There was severe angst but not so many tears. Of course it could be I just read “Stealing Harper” and cried off and on all the way through then about the entire last hour of the book. I was cried out. That too could have contributed to my missing the more passionate Chase.
At least Chase lives and……. Can’t tell you that it’s a spoiler. If you like Molly’s style and are familiar with the other stories so you recognize all the characters and love a good twisty turny mystery love story you’ll love this. I’m still glad I spent my credit and suggest you listen/read it.

took time to finish

if you were team Chase, this might be hard to read...

My suggestion, read Taking Chances through "that chapter" - then start this book. When we begged Molly for an alternative ending, this is NOT what any of us asked for.
