Heartbreakingly good

I love the mental health aspect of this story. It’s a deep story about actors and everything they go through, but also the partners of said actors. It comes together in a beautiful ending that is both heartbreaking and healing

Beautiful & Raw Story

I read / listened to this in one sitting! I could not stop... I love Kate's writing so much that it totally consumes me.

I love Lucas and Mila! They are the perfect match for eachother. Their love is so strong but nothing is perfect.. You get to take their journey with them, and it isn't always pretty!

This story will take you on a path that you will feel the emotions bleeding from the pages. I feel like I was on a rollercoaster while reading it!

This is a beautiful and raw story with so much love and angst that will be torn while reading it. But it is so WORTH IT!!

Kate Stewart Magic

This was another amazing book by Stewart. She never disappoints. The performance was emasculate and portrayed the characters so well

GREAT STORY.. disappointing female narrator

When it comes to a Kate Stewart romance I eagerly ‘one click’ them because I know her relationships are anything but normal, easygoing, predictable or boring. With Lucas and Mila’s torn journey, Kate certainly takes you on a present/past/flashback further past emotional rollercoaster you just cannot plot. And I loved the sweet beginnings.. the unfolding of all the turmoil and uncertainties.. as well as the build-up of the fire and ice. Coupled with the heartbreaking friction, despair and elements of doubt. Also there’s buried feelings and discovering truths.. pushing too far and the long road back. It’s an angsty, emotional bitter-sweet journey of deep love and devotion challenged by a friend’s suicide.. and surviving the aftermath will take patience, understanding, hitting rock bottom, self-discovery, hope, character growth and love love love.

So, Lucas and Mila’s story should’ve been an epic five star success because this author’s layered and bursting story definitely deserves them. HOWEVER, and unfortunately, (IMO) Kristin Condon’s narration let it down big time because she really can’t do any sort of a believable male voice and it was a struggle getting through her parts. Thank God for Brandon Utah though because he was good.

Worth a credit? I persevered because I love Kate Stewart romances and I wanted to know why had Silas and Mila’s relationship and imploded and would their marriage survive the challenges and bitter battles ahead. So yes, for me, it was creditworthy.

Flashbacks within flashbacks

Good points: good dialogue, interesting subject matter, relatable characters.
Not so great: Wayyyyy too many flashbacks, with flashbacks within flashbacks. I got totally lost. Also, the plot took a turn towards coo coo town towards the end. Thumbs down from me.

Enthralling!

I listened to this book in 2 days. Every time I tried to turn it off, the next words spoken drew me back in. In true Kate Stewart fashion, Method grabs your guts and twists while feeding you relief in equal measure. Such an incredible stunning and heart wrenching story. The narration was spectacular and the journey to the hard earned HEA was one hell of a ride.

I highly recommend this book!

Perfect Just Perfect

Wow! Brilliant & Raw at its finest. Prime example of complex love.. Kate Stewart writing is amazing especially in this book. I loved the flashbacks. The heartbreak of losing someone to mental health was so gut wrenching but so raw that you literally felt ever emotion that Lucas went through. Mila was the perfect heroine you wanted Lucas to have the HEA with.

Please this takes you in-depth to dark places Check your TW.

Perfect! Just Perfect..

A Rollercoaster

While not her lost enjoyable read it was epic it's a cinematic way. I have read most of her books but I had left this one as the guy on the cover makes me feel like I'm reading a mills and boon. It really shouldn't have that cover as this book is so much more than that.
