The FMC is into the MMC but talks herself out it over and over again for the strangest reasons. That and the constant tug of war between them for people in their thirties, the whole thing is ridiculous. Grace starts out as this strong woman in the first few chapters and ends up a weeping mess who can't stand up to her mother. she keeps convincing herself that he can't be a woman going through a divorce and br with him. what century is she in? They are adults, but she keeps lying, want him,don't want him, so absurd.

This was my first Brittanee Nicole's book, and won't be my last. This book is part of the Boston Billionaires Series, and the first installment in the Falling for Whiskey Duet, a billionaire contemporary romance. Cash and Grace’s story is entertaining, and passionate, filled with secrets, drama, and twists and turns. The supporting characters are amazing. Joe Arden and Lucy Rivers did an outstanding job bringing this story to life. I love their voices together. They are perfect as Cash and Grace. This book is part of a Duet and is not a standalone. As expected, this installment ends with a cliffhanger, and I am looking forward to listening to Loving Whiskey, the second installment in the duet. #HomeCookedBooks

Whiskey Lies is the star of Cash and Grace's story. I can not wait to jump into Loving Whiskey and see what happens next in their story. I really enjoy getting to see the characters cross over among diffrent series. The Narration of this story is so perfect I can not wait to listen to more.

Wow!! Just wow! What an ending. I think I literally held my breath and sobbed a little. Poor Grace! This book has more rollercoasters than an amusement park. My heart is still racing as I write this. I understand Cash’s anger but dang dude! You have been her rock and the one that has stood by her through it all! Ugh!! Thank goodness I have the next book because if I had the wait I would be pissed!! Will say, audio for this all the way, love the narrators and the way they bring these characters to life…except at the end when my heart literally gets ripped out, no spoiler. Running now to download next book!

From the beginning, I knew the author had some serious talent! I jumped right into this story. The chemistry between Cash and Grace was electric. Grace was so sassy, while Cash had sexiness in spades.
Grace meets Cash in 1st class on her way to a weekend getaway. Cash strikes up a conversation and then orders champagne. They have this amazing weekend and then life happens.
Although you can’t imagine the turn it’s about to take. There is so much drama that they have to deal with and some of it pits themselves against the other. And then…..the cliffhanger. I knew it was coming.
I’ve been trying process all of my emotions. Because this author leaves you feeling everything…happiness, anger, frustration, confusion, love, hopefulness and so many more.
The narration was amazing. Joe Arden gave a dark, rich, smoothe tone to Cash. Lucy did a great job with both the confident Grace and the Grace who felt like she was beaten down for a bit.

Okay I did not expect to get drawn in so quickly to this story!!!!

The narrators were AMAZING & perfect for the characters!

It was thrilling, spicy, kept me on the edge of my seat & honestly I never knew which direction the story would turn!!

I was expecting it to end on a cliffhanger but I need to have answers!

leave it on a cliffhanger! I'm dying! I started it before I realized it was a duet. Then I knew it was going to hurt me but it was too late. I couldn't turn back. God I love Joe Arden😍. This author really did him justice.
