A fun origin story

This was a fun listen to the origins of the character of Ragnar Blackmane. As a long term Warhammer fan I honestly didn’t know much about the character to start with, but man I got invested in his journey in becoming a Space Wolf.

Ragnar's Journey

It was this series that years ago pulled me into the 40k universe that I still love today!

The book is a rarity for 40k series showing the before and training of a space marine. You join Ragnar Blackmane, one of the most famous Space Wolves, back when he was Ragnar Thunderfist just a youth on the cusp of adulthood on Fenris.

From his death, to rebirth, to the gates of death, and then the bowls of Fenris the story of Ragnar is told.

From a War Camp child to a Wolf

Enjoyed that this is not the Best or the Strongest, but he has his faults and his ever pressent honor to keep in check.
