A worthwhile book

I am glad I listened to this book. I learned ways to improve my health. I am lactose intolerant and was able to eat feta and hard cheese however this seems to have changed for me. I also was a long covid person where I lost my sense of smell and taste for 6 months and had no idea this had to do with gut health. After listening I will consult my doctor, make changes in my diet and start walking again. I appreciate the research put into this book. It certainly has motivated me to do a cleanse and begin caring for my gut!!

an incredibly informative and engaging listen

Wholistic approach to health

I knew I would love this book when I heard the opening quote. I totally agree that health problems that can be solved by dietary changes should be solved that way. I would much prefer to use my body’s natural ability to heal itself than continually take a pill that covers the symptoms but doesn’t actually fix the root of the problem. If you’re looking for a solution to doesn’t just cover things up, but actually fixes the problem then this book is for you.

I learned so much!

The author hit me with microbiota and gut dysfunction. I like how it was explained and all tied into how it affects your gi tract and even your brain. But then what/how are healthy choices. Great resource. Oh and it included supplement choices, some I use and some were new.

gut health demystified

Such a timely book - helping improve my gut health has always been an importance to me. This book will help you understand the structure of the gut, the mind-gut connection, digestion, and the microbiome in a way that isn't too hard to understand.

Gut health is important but it's hard to understand why, and so many people don't do anything about it. Thankfully this book helped me get excited about attending to my digestive and gut health more, which is the whole point! The author also reviews how gut health and Covid are related, which I haven't heard talked about much.

A holistic guide to gut health

Not only was this a most pleasant listen, it was also surprisingly informative. I particularly love the holistic approach set forth by the author to make sure that we use all tools at our disposal to turn these changes into a lifestyle, a more sustainable way to maintain health. The book covers the what (how our digestive system functions and what it's made up of), the how, the why - basically, it offers all the information necessary to gain the knowledge to understand and apply these changes. I really prefer being given advice while receiving the explanation as to why I am doing this and exactly how it will affect me, which is exactly what I found within these pages. This listen certainly delivers!

Very helpful

This Is a well-narrated book. My wife listens to this, and it has made a difference to her diet, her health, and her general well-being.
I will strongly recommend this book as it's the best thing on Amazon for stressed women with a negative eating habits.

Educative and interesting

This is a step by step guide for people to improve on their guts. I learned the importance of having a healthy gut. With this understanding I felt committed to modify my gut’ health. By reducing sugar intake , exercising, meditation and sleeping well.It is also a reminder to me that I am my own architect of my health.
