The story was pretty unique. A typical MC type story with some mystical aspects that I found to be quite a refreshing surprise. The male narration was good, but the female narrator was like listening to nails on a chalkboard. I was going to give up so many times listening to her whining and ridiculous questions, I am glad the story was strong enough to keep me involved.

I love this story. It has some of everything in it. Julia is full of compassion and tollerance. When she met Scar he was in a dire dark place, she gave him LIGHT. I am now ready to read the second book. Given the talent of the author this book will also be just as exciting. Thank you.

Scar and his MC brothers suffered unspeakable abuse as children. Leaving deep trauma as adult men. Scar meets a school nurse who is on the run with an abused boy who os the sheriff’s young son. Not my favorite MC romance. It is still worth a credit though.

The premise of the story is so intriguing and I would love this more fleshed out overall. There are several inconsistencies throughout the story so that took me out of the story.

The male narrator was fantastic. Perfect voice for Scar. However, the female narration was so hard to listen to. I had to speed her chapters to double speed just to get through it. It's like an off brand Jennifer Coolidge impression.

I was really trying with this one but I just can’t take it anymore.

The female narrator is terrible and makes the fmc sound very whiny.

The story…oy. I’m not ever expecting anything realistic but this is just too much. They can’t seem to get past their lust to consider and kid first.
