Publisher's summary

"Bound not by blood but loyalty. We live, we ride, and we die by our own laws."

I’ve always known where I belong. I was born to wear the Dirty Soul patch.

Club life is the only life I’ve ever wanted. The president, Jimmer Carson, raised me like a son, and he trusted me with his family. My loyalty to him and the Souls is unbreakable.

When tragedy strikes our club, the life I thought I knew is thrown into turmoil. Loyalties are questioned, bonds are severed, and rules are broken. For the first time in my life, I feel lost.

She’s a complication I shouldn’t pursue. Far too perfect to be mine. But I fear she could also be the missing part of my lost soul.

Lost Soul is the first book in the Dirty Soul’s MC series.

Warning: Due to the nature of the series, you should expect to come across subject matter that some listeners may find disturbing.

Lost Soul is intended for adults.

Have your tissues close, because you’ll need them. Expect the unexpected, I wasn’t prepared for the heartbreak I felt. The narration was amazing and they did a fantastic job telling the story.

Lost Soul

what the heck was that ending?? talk about a plot twist. well, there was quite a bit of those lol. okay, I have to admit the beginning of this book was kinda boring but I kept listening and I'm glad I did because Holy Heck did it pick up. so much happen in this book. Betrayal, kidnapped, action, drama, romance and so much more. but that ending wow. I honestly can't wait for the next book. because it sounds like it's going to be so good.

Heavy read! Content warning!

The story took me by surprise, the first part of this book had me thinking I knew what the story was going to be about, at least I thought I had a sort of formulaic idea of where things would head, but the author was like "lmfao, nah" and it really took a turn, several in fact, by the end. I admit I was thinking "this might not be the book for me" when that first shift happened but I was too enthralled to stop and I'm very glad I didn't!

The voice actors did a really great job, imo, I of course always wish that the woman got to read all the women's parts and the man the men's, like how the Lilly Atlas MC books are performed, but I'm still happy to hear multiple voice actors to help with the immersion and they did an amazing job.

If you like darker stories and the trigger warnings are something you think you can tolerate, it's worth a listen! I got vibes of books like Gianna Darling's book "Dead Man Walking", and Tillie Cole's "It Ain't Me, Babe", not in the plots or character development specifically but just the "vibe", I don't know how to describe it, but I think if you've read/listened to those and liked them, that you will really enjoy Lost Soul!

I'm definitely following this author, while I feel I need a happy easy going romance book now as a palette cleanser, I absolutely will listen to more of her books in the future!

***SPOILER ALERT CONTENT WARNING***

There is an interrogation between the H and h that could be triggering
There is a rape/murder described in pretty heavy detail and then brought up again multiple times
There is torture and violence

Deliciously dark & twisted - need the rest!

Lost Soul is a phenomenal start to The Dirty Souls MC series. The storyline and the character development met my highest expectations. It's brilliantly written, gripping, gritty, suspenseful, emotionally engaging, deliciously dark, and enthralling. The character development is authentic, and the MC world and culture weren't sugar-coated. Dirty Souls MC's world is gritty, dangerous, twisted, and dark, shrouded in deception.

The combination of the various moving parts, secrets, danger, and unexpected twists made the storyline unpredictable and wholly engaging. It's like riding on a spiraling rollercoaster, going through a dark tunnel with one wrenching turn after another. As for the main characters, the chemistry between Hayley and Jessie is explosive, charged with passion, childhood memories, tragedy, consequences, masked desire, and heat. I was thoroughly captivated by and emotionally invested in their journey.

Outstanding narration by Jeremy Frazier and Arlene Seberg! They each captured the nuances of the characters, emotions, and intensity of the scenes, making the story even more engrossing. Lost Soul is a fascinating listen with a sophisticated plot, intriguing characters, and quality narration. I ate it all up! I was intrigued, wanted more, and eagerly anticipated the next audiobook in the series. I'm definitely recommending this audiobook.

A few struggles here

This one has a lot of twist and turns. The story was a bit of a irritation to me as it falls into that category listed above. I can’t say a lot as it falls into that twisty category. I will say it is a sloooow romance and definitely not what I expected. I was not a huge fan of the way the main male character acted a-lot in reference to women. I get he is in an MC and thats what they do but I don’t are to read about it especially after her saw his woman and wanted her. I would hope he would stop sleeping with club women once he found “her”

The narrators are both new to me. Jeremy Frazier and Arlene Seberg do a wonderful job.

Dark, Twisted & Intense! Great Story & Narration🎧

This is my first book written by Emma Creed and consider me wowed with her impressive story and writing style. The story she created is multi-layered with interesting storylines that grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated it the entire book. Both the MC world building and character development are fantastic. Jimmer Carson, the president of the MC, and his wife and daughter did not live on the club’s grounds, his wife did not want that life for her daughter, but that meant he was not home very much and Hayley resented the club for that. When she was ten, her father brought home a boy, Jessie, who was a few years older than her. His father, one of the founding members of the club, was dead and his mother was gone, too. Hayley was interested in getting to know Jessie even as a young girl and as the years passed by, her attraction to him only grew, but he saw her as a younger sister, one he swore to look after. Jessie became a club prospect and when he became interested in a girl at Hayley’s school, Hayley offered to become her friend so she could find out more about her and let him know, but she thought the girl was not for him, that she was really the one for him. Her plan backfired in more ways than one, first, she really liked Maddy and they wound up becoming good friends, second, Jessie’s attraction to her grew, despite thinking she was too good for him. The deeper Jessie got involved with the club, the darker his work become. But not is all what it appears to be and some people are not either. This is a mind-blowing and cleverly plotted story and it was great to watch it all play out, there is plenty of drama, angst, action, twists and turns, thrilling suspense, some gut wrenching moments, heartfelt emotions and some steamy romance. Emma Creed, thank you for this great story and the wild ride. I am looking forward to hear what comes next for the Prez and the Dirty Souls MC.

🎧📚🎧 And for the terrific narration, Jeremy Frazier and Arlene Seberg did a great job bringing these characters and story to life, They had a complete understanding of the characters they were portraying, gave each a voice that fit their character’s persona, and were believable in every role they played. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the character’s emotions and projected them into their performance and have you feeling every single one. These entertaining storytellers are versatile voice artists and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this great listen.
