Now, after a 25 year hiatus, she is back! And there’s a lot to catch up on! So much so that we just had to “Return To Milburn”! About Berry The Dead: Finding herself as the guest of honor at a surprise party for her 55th birthday, Nora is thankful for the wonderful friends & family with whom she has been blessed. She’s also grateful for how long it has been since ending up knee-deep in a murder mystery. For years, her days have been filled with delicious baking & fantastic times with loved ones. Life is good! Then her housekeeper is found dead, poisoned by berries… To make things worse, the new sheriff seems determined to brush her death off and move on. But Nora knows this wasn’t an accident. And, if she wants to see the killer brought to justice, she also knows it’s time for her to spring into action. So, with the help of her friends, Tina & Simone, Nora jumps headlong back into the murder game. And this time she’s older, wiser and in more danger than ever! Join Nora Newberry in this first book of her new series, “Return To Milburn”, and find out what we’ve all been missing since we saw her last! On one hand, she is thrilled that her daughter is in love and wants her to be happy. But the groom's family is more than a little bit crazy, especially his domineering & intrusive mother. Nora doesn't even want to imagine that woman as her precious daughter's mother-in-law! But she may not be around to interfere for long. After all, she's the main suspect in a murder case and things don't look good for her... Did Nora's new in-law-to-be do it? Or is she as innocent as she claims? And, if she is, can Nora set aside her personal feelings and help find the real murderer? From Book 3, Reminiscing With The Dead: When Lori Birdwhistle disappeared from Milburn twenty years ago, no one was sure whether she had been murdered or had simply skipped town. But those who knew her best were confident she’d never voluntarily leave her beloved son and simply take off. But, without a body and no real clues to go on, the case quickly went cold and, before long, life simply moved on. Now, thanks to a new visitor in town, the case is, once again, being investigated. But not by the official police - this time Nora is taking charge! But not everyone is so keen on the past being dug up. For some, there are secrets to be protected. And they are more than willing to kill if that’s what it takes to keep the past in the past… JUMP INTO THE SERIES TODAY AND BE READY WHEN BOOK 4 HITS AMAZON!

Good Mystery

I especially was surprised and later delighted with the lead character’s responses/actions when she knew it would be unpopular. I actually gasped the first time in story one of this series.

No to virtual voice

Loved the stories! The virtual voice reads are horrible. Just no infliction and the words are pronounced incorrectly some of the time. Just not a fan! Big fan of the stories though!
