Publisher's summary

The best-selling military space opera: the complete series in one box set. We fought them for decades. And we won.

But victory has proven more destructive than defeat.

Years after defeating aliens bent on burning down the galaxy, the Interstellar Union is breaking apart, its member species undermining each other at every opportunity.

When an interdimensional distress signal arrives, only humanity is interested in helping.

Captain Vin Husher is given command of the UHS Relentless, and sent in as part of a carrier strike group...

...right into a trap laid by humanity’s old enemy.

Surrounded by a bioengineered super-species and unable to return home, Husher must draw on decades of experience just to keep his people alive.

If he can’t survive long enough to escape this hellish pocket universe and warn humanity of the impending danger, all will be lost.

And it might already be too late.

This trilogy was a good time...

Well written, one of those unique situations where the backstory is written into the action, letting you begin the story and still understand all of the past, at least as much as you need it. Characters were likeable, it was a good ride

Google Military Science Fiction

If you love Mechs and Military you love the science fiction story. The narrator was very good.

excellent ...

great series of books. very well done. ..and hats off to Mark Boyett the speaker / voice in the series. The man does an excellent job and kept me interested along with the authors writing of the stories. I would give 10 stars if able. can't believe I'm done with this. Gonna miss the captain and his ventures. hopefully more come. if so, keep Mark Boyett on them. he's THAT good.

Great story

Everything was well organized and the characters seemed to come to life, one can easily identify with each.

The ending

Loved the books, very well done, either I missed it or there isn’t one but I would love to have gotten to hear about the war in the other universe

Listen

Settings were adequate.
Characters were brought to life by the story but also by the story teller.
It was fast paced but predictable in some scenarios but then all great heroic sagas are predictable.
