fertilized and chemically treated garden.

Years ago I had from a fertilized and chemically treated garden. There is no comparison in how much better organic tastes even if you don't consider the health advantages if you ask me. In a nutshell, I consider this my organic veggie garden bible. I have journals full of information but I keep changing to this.

Easy Reference For Successful Growing in Central

This audible was recommended by my local organic produce, near Austin, Texas. They use it as their all-encompassing reference work for vegetable plants and herbs, treatments, fertilizers, growing tips, medicinal plants, etc. It's easy to reference information, and I especially like the pest guide with simple drawings to help identify the advantageous bugs from the unfavorable ones.

Good techniques for the backyard gardener

I had purchased this audible for my kindle. After scanning through it I understood that this is one of those audible that the physical form would do better than the kindle format. So I bought the physical format. He talks about clay additives, what plants do better when planted with certain other plants.

Five stars

I am a techno-geek. The closest I have come to gardening is digging holes for my wife for her garden. 😊 My wife loves gardening – it is her happy place. I was thrilled to hear her talking about this book, and then the fabled cat spurred my curiosity, and I listen to it.

Nice Resource for Vegetable Gardeners

One thing the author stresses is the importance of keeping the soil working at a deep level, and full of organic material. Growing up areas by adding layers of fertilizer is his main strategy as well as planting in groups in areas, not necessarily in series. He also stresses crop rotations and planting certain plants together to either resist insects or utilize different earth metals together.

Great book on gardening

Great book on gardening, I recently started a garden in my backyard and I downloaded different books to have more knowledge. I think give some different tips of the other books I listen on this topic, and I will probably read more books written by the author. Very well written and a must-have before you start gardening.

Very recommended buy this for new gardeners

Great listening for a beginner or seasoned gardener. The illustrations were very helpful. Even though I haven't finished going thru the entire work, the data I've listened to is very helpful. As a gardener myself, I have learned a good bit from this work.

beginner or experienced gardener.

This audible is a wealth of knowledge. It has so many gardening techniques I've done gardening for a couple of years now but didn't feel that I was preparing the hang of it as much as I could. I already had put in raised beds. But I like how this book has provided information on how much I could plant in one area and different schemes of planting. Sure, it says how to plant on the back of the grain packaging, but there is more planning into it than you would think.

Best Organic Based Gardening work Ever

I showed this audible to my well-known mother for both her vegetable and flower gardening but is not always quick with praise especially if she finds something to be impractical. Her take on THE VEGETABLE GARDENER'S is the most practical gardening work she has ever seen and many of the principles...
