Rage Nails the times we live in right on the head!

Its as if Stewart Raffill had a time machine and he was able to see into the future of where the world is heading.

This political thriller will keep you on the edge of your seat and wanting more.

The characters are richly woven into the very real fabric of what politics feels like today. Without ruining any of the story I can tell you that this apocalyptic scenario that weaves through the book is thrilling and terrifying all at the same time.

This is not a paint by numbers thriller. Mr. Raffill takes us on a rollercoaster ride that I pray never happens in our country but the entire time I was reading the book I felt his words could happen.

I can only hope that Donald Trump does not read this book because he would take elements of it and use it as a disaster of a road map for the troubles our world is in today.

I highly recommend this book.

Great Story, Awesome Production, 5 Star Audiobook!

Everything from the production to the story was great. I really enjoyed the multiple characters being voiced by other narrators. Instead of just one person narrating the whole time, there is an additional cast that keeps the story flowing and bringing everything to life. The music was also a nice touch, giving it a very cinematic feel to each chapter.

The author gives the perfect amount of detail throughout the story giving a good pace while listening and taking everything in.

Overall a great listen and highly suggest it for anyone looking for a great story and performance.

Brilliant and Compelling Political Thriller

What made the experience of listening to Rage the most enjoyable?

I particularly enjoyed the multiple voices and the music. So often audible books are performed by just one narrator, but with Rage you have both male and female voices who make the storytelling much more interesting. It is easier to follow the characters when the story is told by different readers.

What did you like best about this story?

It is a fast paced political thriller with multiple twists and turns. With believable, well-developed characters and a plot that is as up-to-date as today's headlines, the reader is propelled into a world where frustration and rage lead to extreme measures. It is as unpredictable as it is compelling.

lose the music

an interesting story and an excellent narrator. a different slant on the tried and true political/military tale. enjoyed it late into the night.

The music is badly placed, often covering the narration of the new chapter. there is a break every time the music ( a sort of hic up) which is distracting. as the book progresses that musicc seems to be louder and louder.

THRILLING!!

What did you love best about Rage?

This book kept me on the edge of my seat. It's scary how real it could be. MUST READ and will appeal to all ages and genders.

Who was your favorite character and why?

The President. He knew what he had to do but was torn because of his empathy with the crew.

Have you listened to any of Mark Deakins’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me realize how sad things really are and how important it is to end all this hatred and ugliness.

Any additional comments?

I'd love to see this in a movie....

Moves faster than the movie "Speed"!

I don’t know who made the decision to use a full cast of narrators in Stewart Raffill’s “Rage”, but it was brilliant. I chose this book for download because I needed a change from the normal genres I listen too. After I started reading this book? At about minute 10, I realized it was going to be something different than what I am used to. I started researching the author because the dramatic tension I was experiencing was surreal.

I found out he wrote and produced Passenger 57, which is the type of hi-excitement and fast moving action thriller that I love to watch. It immediately made sense of why this book is such a fantastic read! If you love rollercoaster reading, you will love this story. What amazed me though, it that a movie writer could make a –book- into a movie within itself to this extent. I am reminded of Nelson De Mille, and frankly, that’s a level few can accomplish.

The plots twist at the end of the book? Bravo Stewart, BRAVO! You are a brave author, you took that shot, not knowing how people would react. You went where few people would go and I cheered at it. In fact, I was so fulfilled? I told 10 friends of mine to get this book on Audible and they also loved it.

I’m really happy I didn’t read this as a book. I would have been involved in the speed of the story and I would have read through it and missed things. The audio book is still so fast, but it controls the read, so I get to experience every word.

I cannot WAIT for Raffill's nxt book. This was amazing!

Justice is finally served!!!!!

I read the hard cover when it first came out and loved it. When I realized Rage had an audio version it I jumped on it and listened to it all in one day. I loved the unpredictable twists that seemed concurrent with the day's breaking news. I appreciated Mr Raffill's explanation and justifications for the actions, thoughts and beliefs of the characters. These words deepened the reality of the story due to the talent of the narrator and other variety of readers. The music was added bonus and helped the listeners fully appreciate the action.

I have recommended this to all my friends and expect to discuss it with them in the future.

A real page turner!

I don't usually read political thrillers, but this was recommended by a friend and I loved it. Fast paced story that keeps you wanting more. If you love Grisham and Clancy check out Stewart Raffill. It won't disappoint.
