About this listen
Enemy mages and ships. An all-powerful organization gone rogue. One woman refuses to stand aside.
After the Divinity reveals its dark intentions, Rielle and her friends patrol the Shining Sea, doing all they can to stem the tide of gold flowing into Magehold and the dangerous goods flowing out. Facing Immortals and pirates at every turn, they wage battle after battle against clandestine Divinity ships in an effort to weaken its ability to grasp for power.
Meanwhile, Veris draws near and the Dragon King hunts Jon, whose life hangs in the balance as Olivia and Samara seek answers to heal his heart. As the werewolf presence in Emaurria escalates, Brennan is forced to confront both sides of his werewolf–noble identity and choose whether to reject it or embrace it. In a harsh and deadly wilderness, Leigh and Ambriel search for clues about the Sundering ritual, hoping to seal away the violent Immortals and save the land for good.
But the Divinity does not accept defeat — and when the Grand Divinus strikes back, it is not at Rielle but at Emaurria. Will she give up her war against the Divinity, or will Emaurria fall?
If you like the fantasy romance of A Court of Thorns and Roses, the dark intrigue of the Black Jewels series, the epic adventure of Game of Thrones, and a heroine who never gives up, you'll love this romantic epic fantasy series.
Buy Queen of the Shining Sea and dive into a medieval world sensual and dark, full of magic and greed, love and blades, where factions vie for influence and there are no easy choices....
(Note: This is an adult fantasy novel, and as such, there are adult situations depicted, including adult language, violence, romance, alcohol and/or drug use, etc. This is the fourth book in a projected six-book series, so although this book's story is complete, it is not a standalone novel.)
Don’t miss The Dragon King, the newest book in the best-selling Blade and Rose series!
The final book, Immortelle, releases in November 2020!

Mercenary Casia Greythorne cares about two things: completing whatever her latest job is and earning enough coin to buy the expensive medicine that's keeping her mentor alive. So when the king himself offers her a job, she can't resist the massive reward he offers - even if it means working with Captain Elander, the arrogant, mysterious right-hand to that king. Her partner may be infuriating, but at least their mission seems simple and quick enough: investigate the origins of the strange plague that's been ravaging their empire, help find a cure, and then call it a day.

OMG!!!
Omg, this is one of my favorite series of all time and it just gets better and better with each book. I'm literally on the edge of my seat constantly. I can't stop listening/reading. This is probably the best book so far in the series. I feel like I've been on this love roller coaster with Rielle and my emotions are all over the place. SPOILERS AHEAD: The only thing that I thought didn't fit was Brennans reaction to the breakup. He was obsessed with Rielle and completely crazy in love with her, yet she breaks up with him and he's like ehh whatever, let me just move on the exact same day. That didn't seem like Brennan. But in any case, I'm happy that Rielle and John are where they are at. I love this story, can't wait for the next one!! It's really a must read.

magical
This is book 4 in Honfleur's Blade and Rose series. I have to say that you really need to read this series in order - and even then, if there is a lag of time between reads, you may want to go back and re-read / listen. There are so many characters and inter woven storylines with twists and turns that it can be confusing but at the same time the author does such a good job you feel like you could actually be among these characters in this world at this time. Such amazing talent and the narration is of course wonderful with accents and tone differences - just wonderful.
This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

whirlwind funride
'Queen of the shining Sea' by Miranda Honfleur is the story of Rielle. This is book isn't only about Rielle anymore. Brennan en Jon are also main charaters in this book and series.
'Court of shadows' is the third book in the series.
This series has 4 books at this time. This audiobook is about 18 hours and 23 minutes long. .
I am not sure anymore wich book in this series is my favorite. They keep getting better.
'Queen of the Shining Sea' is an incredible book. She finally wrapped up the love triangle that's been raging for three books. I am certain that Rielle ended up with the right person, established new and ever-more-exciting stakes, and ended on a huge cliffhanger. Like always haha
I really enjoyed that the author picked characters from her other serie (this is also in the same world). I mean 'No man Can Tame' book. With some of them I really needed to think very hard where I knew them from. I also liked the mini novella in between the story. You can see this as a bonus.
I am a bit at a loss what to write about this book. Because the author is taking you on a whirlwind of events troughout the book. It normally never happens, but I was really surprised when my book was finished. The action was great. The dialog and romance were great. The characters, as usual, were phenomenal.
I would definitely recommend this book if you like romance, magic and an action packed adventure across the kingdom you will enjoy this book. It's a good continuation for 'Blade and Rose' series.
I'm very much looking forward to sailing on into 'The dragon king'.
I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher for an honest review.

Best One Since the 1st Book!
This book was equal to if not better than the first one. I greatly disliked the direction of the 2nd and 3rd books and almost thought about stopping the series altogether but I decided to stick with it and I am so glad I did. I can’t say this book made reading through the 2nd and 3rd books totally worth it cause honestly I hated the majority of those 2 books but it is definitely a step in the right direction and if the next books continue this way than I’ll be more than satisfied.
Jon and Rielle finally feel like themselves again. Rielle finally feels like the strong independent woman she was in the first book and Jon is his kind, strong, honorable self once again. And Brennan was even somewhat tolerable in this book. I think him being a father makes him a little bit more likable. I’m so glad him and Rielle are over. There relationship was so toxic and such a drag on the story. Jon and Rielle finally found their way back to each other and the story progresses as it should have(in my opinion) after book 1. Unlike Brennan and Rielle, Jon and Rielle lift each other up, work together and have open and honest communication. Their relationship feels like a boost to the story as opposed to the exhausting hinderance of Brennan and Rielle.
I also liked the inclusion of the different immortals in this book and actually enjoyed a lot of the side character storylines which I usually don’t. In past books I’ll always found myself bored through the side character story arcs and just waiting to get back to the mains(Jon and Rielle) but with this book I was actually interested in the some of the side character stories and invested in how they progressed(not as much as the mains but still more so than I ever have been in the past).
This book does end on a cliffhanger so be ready for that but it’s not a HUGE one in my opinion and I am more than willing to wait. So excited fo the next in the series! 🖤

A must-read for fantasy lovers!
My fifth magnificent read from author Miranda Honfleur, this is an epic in the making! Tolkienesque fantasy with just a dash of romance for flavor. Well-written, outstanding characters developed in great detail. No spoilers from me, this is a must-read for fantasy lovers! Narrator Amanda Leigh Cobb's narration adds to the book's enjoyment. I was given an Audible copy and am voluntarily reviewing it. I’ll be reading more by this author. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).
