Publisher's summary

Safety lights are out, oxygen production has halted, and her partner is out of reach on the nearby moon. Shannon is stuck on this frozen, lifeless rock 4.2 light-years from home, on a planet known simply as Proxima g. She’s racing against time to repair the broken life-support system so her wife, son, and all the other refugees from Earth don’t arrive to a useless habitat that’s succumbed to the harshness of space. But there’s more to this situation than meets the eye, and with each step she takes the mystery only deepens.

Can Shannon save this habitation dome, and the vital food supply growing inside, before it’s too late?

A thrilling sci-fi adventure…

What a fun read! There’s a severe lack of LGBTQ+ space travel fiction, especially in the thriller and short story sub genres.
The technical aspects are well represented without being inundating, and the main character is someone who doesn’t make silly mistakes to push the plot forward. The narrator was easy to listen to without being over bearing.
I hope there are more in this series!

Solid Story

The story is tense and a little bit spooky. Well worth taking 30 minutes to listen.
