Appears to be poorly written by AI LLM
Being interest in (and living through) early space flight, I was excited to see an audio book about Project Mercury. Unfortunately I was very disappointed with this title. As was discussed in another review, the information provided was very repetitive. The writing was not 'tight or edited at all. There was a repeated and overuse of adjectives when describing various items and events. In my opinion, this book has been "written" by an AI and not a real author. When I click on "TD Barnes" in the book description, there is no author bio, just a long list of books by this "author", most all released in a very short period of time. I guess it is appropriate that all the audio books are narrated by a Virtual Voice.
In doing a little research, there appears to be an actual author named TD Barnes but I doubt that this is that person. Several books by this TD Barnes have titles similar to books written by the "real" TD Barnes but not the same.
In summary, my opinion is this is a poorly written book generated by an LLM with very little editing by a real person. I would not waste my time reading any of the other titles by this author.
