Fairytale

A perfect fairytale if you are looking for an interesting short story. A fairytale where there are different types of girls some who need rescuing and those who rescue and take their fate into their own hands, not needing anyone to protect her. I liked this because it is more realistic as there are many types of girls in the world. This is one that I am going to keep in my favorites to listen to again and again.

Sweet Fantasy with Lessons

It is rare that I do not give 5 stars to Ms. Gilbert's books. This was well written and had a sweet fairy tale quality. I enjoyed listening to it, but it seemed to end a bit abruptly and I would have had a hard time sticking with it had it been a novel length book. It seemed for a younger audience. There were some good lessons for all, however, and were cleverly worked into the story.

I prefer her novels. The audio books I have are many and though I read a lot of the stories in eBook, format I plan to go back and listen to the audios.

Ms. Poels did a very good job on the narration.

I requested this audio book from Story Origin and have voluntarily left this honest review.

Intriguing

This was a novelette with princesses, a sorcerer, and dragons. Clean and short, it delivered a great ending that thoroughly satisfied! I very much enjoyed the story.

Princess Melia’s Plight

An interesting listen that is definitely geared towards a younger audience.

Julie C. Gilbert knows how to tell a good story, and I always jump at the chance to listen.

Kate Poels did a lovely job with the narration, and I would enjoy listening to more of her performances.

A Fun Listen

What happens when magic is used for 7 queens to have children? Why, of course, those children, those princesses, will be required by some bad guy to fulfill some evil plan. And what evil plan involving princesses would be complete without a witch and a dragon? None! That's right! These are the pieces of the puzzle that is this story, which was a lot of fun.

The narrator, Kate Poels, did a wonderful job telling this tale. Her narration pulled me right into the story so much that I wish it had been longer.

If you like princesses, dragons, witches, and bad guys who don't succeed, then you should give this story a shot. I bet you'll like it.

Good Bedtime story

I could not finish this, I fell asleep at the same place each time I tried. But it is a clean story for very young adults. So I would advise it for young fantasy lovers.
