Sabrina Carlson misses the old days.

once again Sabrina and her detective husband are pulled into a murder investigation. It starts with their daughter volunteering to act as bait in capturing a drug dealer. Then the dealer is killed and suspects abound. As Sabrina and her husband interrogate the suspects certain things come to light that only adds to the list. At one point retirement is a draw to Sabrina.
Lily Dubuque vocalized the characters and gives then life. Her voice draws thou into the story and holds you spellbound till the final chapter!
Fantastic audio and story.

I have a very large number of Merideyh Potts audible books. They are perfect for car rides and I listen to them frequently. the stories are entertaining and characters are endearing. I highly suggest trying them.

This is an interesting book with the fact that you have a husband, wife detective team for the police along with their policewoman daughter involved in solving this mystery. The author also looks at how a mother who even though she herself is a police officer feels when their daughter takes the same job and then tries for the dangerous duties. She also shows how even grown adult parents with their own children still have their parents worrying about them especially when they have dangerous occupations no matter how old they are! Just because they are loved and respected and older they may not be told it. This is a wonderful book that will make you remember real life parents are the same too. The police work is dangerous and you don't know who you are dealing with, but in the end because of the family all working the case the murder is solved!
The narrator did an excellent job!

Another great addition to this series and I really enjoyed seeing Jessica all grown up and being part of the investigation. She is definitely going to be a great detective when she gets there.

Sabrina is an expert sleuth, but while she loves solving mysteries she also wants to make her small town safe and to keep it that way. In this book Sabrina is hot on the tail of a local drug dealer when they find him dead and realize that this crime goes deeper than they ever knew. This is a short cozy that has a fast moving plot the whole way through. As always I really enjoyed this book because Meredith Potts makes fantastic engaging cozy mysteries!
