About this listen

Danger lurks in Nocturne’s shadows.

Xandra has reached Nocturne, the realm of the fey who’ve invaded Loth, yet it is only the first step. She’s accompanied by Jasmine, a high priestess who inspires feelings she wishes she could ignore. Now they have to find those responsible, and determine why Loth was attacked.

Yet Nocturne is a dangerous place, and it will take everything Xandra has to protect Jasmine. Xandra hasn’t come this far to lay down and die, and anyone wanting to kill Jasmine will learn how she destroyed four armies in her youth.

There's a reason this is one of my favorite authors. There hasn't been a single book I didn't like. This one included.

Another good book.

I have enjoyed this story so far and I think that the narrator has done a good job at portraying the characters. My problem is that the audiobook has sections missing and even cuts to the next chapter in the middle of a description. One example of this can be found from time code 7:26:10 - 7:26:13. At this point a character is talking and the narrator moves to stating who is speaking and the audio just skips to the next chapter. This happens multiple times throughout the book.

Overall Great story, Great narrator, POOR production editing.

Great story, Poor production quality.

nothing makes sense, it feels authur gave up on book and hurried it up. He layed down rules just be broken in the end. Zandra sucks and is annoying character I was hoping she die. The priests are so put down in the story to the point it is so unbearable to listen. Ending was stupid. So many over powered characters. I pretty sure the authur gave up on series because he's know for 3 or more series.

annoying characters. it horrible book

The audiobook is riddled with bad cuts, sometimes breaking off chapters in mid-sentence, repeating a sentence with a different tale, or in the worst case literally repeating an entire chapter. Other than that, the book and narrator are fantastic but I’d say buy the print copy. Idk how this audiobook made it to sale

Excellent book, terrible production
