Funny and intriguing and great for a car ride!

Wow! Did you know it’s illegal to eat an orange in the bathtub in CA or use and X-ray machine to get your shoe size in NV? Lol!!! I love learning about these crazy laws and wondering what prompted such a law in the first place! This is a great listen for a car ride. Very entertaining!

Yep. Crazy Crazy Crazy

My favorite crazy law was the Donkey in A Bathtub because it took so many resources to save it. Goes to show that laws are only put in place because someone did it. What fun listen on my way to work.

This audiobook is a blast! It's filled with funny and crazy laws from different states. I can't wait to share these useless but fun facts at my next dinner party. Can't go fishing by yourself if you're married woman? My goodness. It's perfect for trivia nights. Highly recommend for anyone who loves trivia and funny facts.

Loved it!

This book is very unique and engaging. I may have heard of one or two crazy ancient laws that are no longer in existence, but the number of crazy laws is just astounding. Felicia Hale presents a very entertaining and thought-provoking book. It certainly makes you wonder what the impetus for the law was and why they felt the need to create one.

Totally entertaining and a great conversation piece!

Good to know the West has them, too

I love looking up crazy and stupid laws like these. It's funny to know that the West states have them, too. In my hometown, it used to be(might still be) illegal to eat a cheeseburger walking backward. there was another that said a wellman wasn't allowed to drive a car unless her husband was walking in front of it. clearly outdated, but also makes you wonder why?!
I love how this book dug into the laws that it could and give a bit of history on them. Still, it's a great listen to anyone who wants to know about ridiculous laws in the western states. I'm going to go get a bag of oranges now and eat them in the bathtub while listening to this again. Yay, freedom!
