About this listen

The chains that bound them are breaking. From the shattered world, ancients rise.

Elyon and Saska have been reunited at last—now the hard work begins. Training as they travel, they must put aside their desire in the face of their duty. The heir of Varin has one blade only. One of five. And the others are moving.

Trapped in the depths of the earth, Jonik must find his way out to salvation. He is not alone. Pursued by a horde of hungry creatures, he has only the light of Vandar to protect him. A light and a power that might just awaken something else. Something ancient… and colossal.

Following victory over the Agarathi at Blackfrost, Amron Daecar weighs up his options. A part of him would gather all his strength and strike at once at the heart of the enemy, yet the wiser course is consolidation. The last of the titans are waking, he knows—in the shadow of their conflict, they must prepare.

Across the world, the pieces are moving, nudged here and there by the fingers of fate. Ranulf, Robbert, Emeric, Lythian, and many others will play their part. Whether they know it or not, all are pieces of a bigger puzzle, threads of a tapestry woven through time. There will be tragedy. There will be sacrifice. There will be moments when all seems lost.

Yet the night is darkest just before the dawn. And they must work together to bring the light.

Everything. You must have paid attention in the previous 6 books to catch how perfect it all aligned in book 7. Filled with anticipation for book 8.

Not one thing other than having to wait for the next and final book. But there is hope. Unlike some notable authors I have faith and trust in T C Edge

For me it’s a perfect story, loss, love, violence compassion.

This book is way too long and over explained. I loved the books prior but now its just more words to each character. I honestly stop caring at character 50 or so.

Foot note , Not sure what to make of it.

I was drawn in and pulled again through another great novel. Great complexity of characters. I did feel there were parts I could have done without. I did not care so much for Saska an Ellyon’s relationship. It just seemed to unoriginal and felt it wasted time from parts of the story we could have had. I am not sure why authors feel compelled to add this into stories that are supposed to be fantasy and action. I also felt let down on all the off scene action. I felt at some points in the story as if I missed something yet I did not we were not given it. Instead we were given storylines where I felt it painted women in terrible light. Sorry just was annoyed by these parts. The rest of the story was fantastic!

Another great Novel
