This Book did NOT disappoint!! The spicy chapters are HOT af & the emotional chapters will have you in tears. This is my 1st time hearing Lessa Lamb narrate & she is Phenomenal!! Of course Joe is always Phenomenal, but the 2 of them together - SUPERB!!

This is my 1st read from this author and over I enjoyed this story with a few exceptions
Not sure if it’s just me but I’ve not enjoyed many women narrators & since the 1st half of the story is told by the female lead, was so excited when it finally got to my fav guy Joe Arden as he is amazing !
I would have enjoyed much more if the whole story were told by him as the way she spoke was a bit annoying at times and especially at the end.
The story was well written and I enjoyed the journey she took us on in their lives
This story does have spice but I’d give it about a 2 out of 5 as the fo

Holy Possessive, Stalker Romance! This is a such fantastic and HOT book! I loved every minute of this non traditional love story. The characters are s*xy as sin and the narrators of the audiobook did an amazing job bringing the hotness to life. I absolutely consider this a Must Read and/or Listen and highly recommend it in paperback (did you see that smexy cover?), ebook, and audiobook!

Being a lover, and a connoisseur of non-traditional dark romance love stories, let me tell you. This is one of my favorite books of the year. Serena just has such an amazing range in her writing style. There are so many things that were such pleasant surprises throughout this book. The way she wrote the first half of the book from the female POV and the second half male POV was genius. Professor Nicolas McLean has an obsession, and her name is Phoebe. He’s been watching her from a far, stalking her, protecting her for years. His obsession got kicked up a notch when Phoebe enrolled in his creative writing class. It was hard for him to be so close to her. One day he had an opportunity to blackmail her, and to have her under his thumb. To do his dirty, sexy biddings. Phoebe is just a young woman going to college full-time, working two jobs to support her infant brother and her non-functioning alcoholic mother. She’s just a sweet girl, loyal, and and naïve to her beauty. There are some of the most erotic and sexy scenes! This man makes just watching so darn sexy and erotic. I was totally not expecting some shocking revelations about his past. Phoebe’s character growth was amazing. She was both equal equally terrified of him, and half aroused by him.
Lessa Lamb and Joe Arden both gave stellar performances. Lessa portrayed Phoebe perfectly! Lessa was able to make you feel Phoebe’s determination, disappointment, rage, confusion, and love and lust. She had to play pretty much all the the spectrum of emotions. Lessa was phenomenal. Joe Arden was the perfect choice to play Nicholas. Joe has a perfect voice for the Professors dark characters. Borderline psychotic at times. His low rasps were bone chilling. The whisper groans, HOT! Joe also gave such great vulnerability as well. The amount of filthy dirty talk he delivers was exceptional. He made you root for their eventual HEA.

This was my very first Serena Akeryod book and my very first bully romance. To say I am blown away is an understatement! If I could give more stars I would!
Ms. Akeryod created the ultimate you hate to love hero with Nicholas and his perfect match with Phoebe. Their chemistry is off the charts, by far one of the hottest books I have ever read! I also really loved the set up for the book. It's not the traditional FPoV then immediately switch to the MPoV. Being able to really get to know Phoebe and live in her shoes before switching to Nicholas' was the perfect way to present their story. It left me wondering, curious, and totally invested to find out what will happen and why the characters are the way they are.
I listened to the audiobook of this and you can tell this was written for audio because goodness gracious! The eargasms are intense! Joe Arden and Lessa Lamb are the perfect narrators to bring Nicholas and Phoebe to life. Joe Arden is an automatic buy for me and he delivers everything you want in a male MC - strength, confidence, growly demands, and the vulnerability
Joe does so well. This was my first time listening to Lessa Lamb and she blew me away. She brought just the right amount of sweetness and bite to Phoebe.
I definitely recommend this book. There are some heavy subjects covered, please check the content warnings before jumping.

Nicholas does not start out as a good guy. He's just not. But give him a chance to grow on you, you won't be sorry. Phoebe is hard working, determined and already stronger than any young college student should be. The way she handles Nicholas, the way she allows their love to bloom is just beautiful to read. In the end, I was cheering for them all the way.
Joe Arden and Lessa Lamb are perfect in their narration, really bringing these characters to life. I'm not sure I'd feel the way I do about Nicholas if it wasn't for the narration.

I’m beyond lucky as heck! I to have read and listened to OBSESSED by Serena Akeroyd!! Heck yes!!!!
Both are just utterly captivating and delicious!


OBSESSED is a complex broody love story, with so many brilliant layers woven into it, yet so sexy and hot at the same time that it will captivate you from the very first paragraph till the very end. Just Brilliant!

So I haven't gotten into stalker type books before, but this book is absolutely fantastic. The narrators are amazing and I absolutely loved how they brought the story to life. Nicholas is amazing and I need a guy like him in my life. Phoebe is a sweetheart and an amazing mom to her little brother and I loved that dynamic. Such a great listen!

this was a good book, sweet, dark, really went in depth into really understanding why he was the way he was and really went into depth about her life, it was just a really sweet story,it was spicy but not as detailed in the spicy scenes as I like but I would definitely read this again if I had a choice
