Publisher's summary

“Are you calling dibs?”

“She’s a woman, not the last piece of f--king pie. And yes, I’m calling dibs if it keeps your hands off of her.”

Carter Pierce is a man who believes in signs. He just doesn't know what to do with this one.

In the small town of Blue Moon Bend, where everybody is a matchmaker and a tie-dye wearing hippie, Carter wants to be left alone to tend the family farm. After returning from Afghanistan with scars, his only goal is recovery. He doesn't need distractions. Definitely not one with silver-blonde hair who just keep getting in his way.

Summer Lentz is a big city journalist sent to interview Carter and his family. She's out of place in the small town, with her designer wardrobe and workaholic lifestyle. She asks too many questions and doesn't take no for an answer, threatening to destroy the peace that Carter has been working towards. She thwarts every attempt he makes to retreat back inside himself, somehow bringing him closer to being whole again.

Summer has secrets of her own, but she never planned to open up to anyone - especially not the scowling, secretive farmer whose story she's after. But as she gets drawn into the community, she starts to realize that she can't stay closed off forever.

And what's more, she doesn't want to.

Can Carter and Summer grow closer with a little help from the town? Or will secrets keep them apart?

Carter and Summer

Summer is doing an article on the Pierce Family Farm. She is there for a week. I love the small town antics in this story. The closeness of the family and knowing they have your back. Both Carter and Summer are dealing with things from their past. Carter is a dream. He shows her affection without even realizing it. It's like elementary school all over and it's endearing and hilarious. Think tough guy pulling a ponytail. She has dreams and is dealing with some things. She is trying to be brave and deal with it on her own. Carter is a rock and has a way of putting the pieces back together. I love how she stands by her morals. This was an excellent read. I couldn't put it down so I also bought the audiobook for when I was driving. The narrator did a great job of bringing the characters to life and it just adds more depth to the story. I look forward to the other Blue Moon books and I can't believe it has taken me this long to read them.

Nice Story

Very well thought out story. I listened on Audible and Lila Winters did an excellent job with the reading. Love to see some of these make it to the movie stages.

diving back into Blue Moon with one of my favorite

No More Secrets was one of the very first books I read by Lucy Score, and the love I felt for Summer and Carter is just as strong now in the audio, as the first time I read it in ebook.

The narrator, Lila Winters, has the ability to bring the strength and peace to Carter's voice just as I imagined it years ago. The gift of sweetness, and love she brings to Summer's voice is a joy to behold, and m
made me love her even more.
The reasons I loved Carter so much in the beginning are still there, his gruff almost grumpy exterior that gives way almost immediately to the softness when speaking to Joey, Phoebe, and all the animals. His willingness to talk out his episodes with Summer, and hold nothing back. The true strength of a warrior, "Where are you now?" Carter is still standing among first place in all my book boyfriends created by Lucy Score.

Summer is the gentle place we all want to land at the end of a hard day, except if you pay attention, she never quite quits moving. She has a plan, she's going to execute the plan, and she's going to do it all alone because that's the way she's always done it.
Probably my most favorite part though are the rest of the Pierces, and Joey. I love their camaraderie, their willingness to always pitch in and get a little dirty, and their joy of razzing each other to the fullest extent. Beckett and Jackson know how to push all the buttons at once to make their mother absolutely crazy.
Lila's voice is a joy to listen to, and being submerged in Pierce Acres makes me dreamy for listening to Fall Into Temptation as soon as it is live!!
5 stars for Carter Pierce and Summer Lentz, an excellent narration with Lila Winters, and Lucy Score's amazingly dreamy introduction into Blue Moon Bend!!

Finished in a day!

Great story! This is the second book I listened to by Lucy Score! The first was TWNGO. Lucy’s stories and Lila Winters narrating are a match made in heaven! I can’t wait for the sequel to TWNGO: Things We Hide From the Light, which will also be narrated by Lila Winters.

Cute little read

I listened to this after I listened to the knockemout trilogy. This had the same small town vibes without mafia boss.
