Publisher's summary

Maura might be new to the supernatural town of Green Vallis, but this isn't her first dance with the devil.

Half vampire, half human, and full bar owner, Curtis Jefferson has spent a lifetime running from his vampiric ancestor. When the old nemesis finally catches up to him, it’s only by a freak accident that he’s not killed. But now the beautiful woman who saved his life has a target on her back.

As the new owner of the local motel, Maura MacGregor doesn’t have to live at the family mansion, affording her the ability to stay out of the limelight. She never thought the famed Warlock MacGregors’ magickal troubles would manifest by way of a tall, dark, and hunky bar owner, but she doesn't get to make the rules. Fate does.

Magic, mischief, and kilts!

From the Highlands of Scotland to the valleys of Wisconsin.... A modern-day Scottish paranormal romance by NYT best-selling author Michelle M. Pillow.

Loved It

I loved this book. I love that each book in the series always starts off differently and unique from the others, but is completely captivating and hooks you almost immediately. I was very intrigued with half vampire Curtis. I liked his personality and the danger to him captivated me immediately. I really liked Maura and thought her a good match for him.

Michael Ferraiuolo does another fantastic job narrating this book. Curtis's southern accent was absolutely delicious! Michael is such a talented narrator! I haven't read any of these books myself, but listened to them in audiobook format, and I can't imagine this series without Michael's amazing voice talent!

Love this series!

Maura and Curtis have to face vampires in the past in order to have a future together! The ending had a surprising twist, but then with magic anything is possible! The narrator is so fun to listen to and he has such talent to switch from Scottish to a southern drawl!.

Love in all the right places.

Long awaited for story, l was always curious about Maura's story, the girl that didn't seem to date. So naturally l was keen to start, l have relistened to the audio version just to get all those fine details. Her quest for righteousness and love was heartbreaking, sweet, entertaining and even funny at times. l loved it, a thoughtful well written and narrated tale.
GO UNCLE RAIBEART! RECOMMENDED! FANTASTIC SERIES!

Time travel with love

Love the story within a story and nice ending how it came in the end. I wish I could see my past and future man I will be with. Good thing I don’t run into ghosts. Run Uncle. Lol

Maura and Curtis

This is Maura MacGregor’s story. Curtis is a dhampir and runs the local tavern. Maura is one of the MacGregor Warlock clan, and runs the hotel motel. Bruce is painting all rooms with a theme, some a bit risqué. There is a lot of humor, hijinks, and drama as their story unfolds. I especially liked the soldiers marching backwards causing time travel. This could be read as a stand alone, however I have loved reading the series in order. I feel like I know the characters like family. It is well written, and characters well developed. The narration was excellent. We go in together. We come out together.

I really enjoyed Maura and Curtis’ time traveling romantic suspense tale. The story hooked me in and took me along for a steamy and dangerous ride. Maura is a warlock whose large clan family moved to the small town of Green Vallis several years ago. She is running the local motel with her brother Bruce since all family members have to contribute. Curtis is a dhampir, the great grandchild of a vampire and a human. He felt led to Green Valois and runs the Crimson Tavern, a bar and grill. There is instant attraction and connection between Maura and Curtis but as usual with this family, things are complicated. To get to their HEA, they will have to deal with vampires, time traveling, and a mystery. The story was well written and included witty dialogue, three dimensional characters, and an engaging storyline as shown through mystery, sweet moments, steam, laughs, messy families, painful pasts, surprises, magic, danger, plot twists, fate, and all the meddling love. I love the insanity and strong emotions that characterize the MacGregor family.

Michael Ferraiuolo did a phenomenal job narrating the story and characters into life with enough change of inflection, tone and cadence to voice multiple characters quite convincingly. As an added plus, the accents are great.

Interesting Story

Night Magick was a really interesting book in this series! I loved it and thought that while it was a bit different from all the previous books in The MacGreagor brother series, There wasn't the amount of zaniness, but more drama than in the others. But I still loved it, and can't wait for the next book of Raebaert's!! Michael Ferraiuolo was amazing narrating as always!!!❤❤❤
