In an instant, the world she once knew skitters totally off its Southern axis! Is the handsome, Mothman-chasing private eye crazy? Or is he the only sane one in the bunch? The more Bobbie discovers about him, the less certain she becomes about reality itself. And in a backwater town like Point Paradise, that's really saying something.

If I was throwing away my money on this book, and the accents took a few minutes to get used to, but once I got past that and just started enjoying the story - I was hooked! The plot is twisty, turny, improbable and FUN! Yes, I got annoyed with the main character a time of two (or three) but I figure she'll learn to trust her own instincts in future books. Future books which I intend to buy and enjoy.

What a great performance and book! Well developed characters. The storyline was great with some twists all paired with the perfect narration! Definitely left me wanting more audible books for this series.

Love the book and all the characters, it has a little bit of everything you look for in a good book. I laughed out loud so many times. I sure hope all the series is on audio!!!

good, but the main character annoyed me with her squeamishness and lack of common sense. an FBI agent would not be calling a civilian for help, or sobbing at murder scene of someone he didnt know.

at first the southern drawl was a little much but as I settled into the story it became evident it couldn't be read any other way. I laughed out loud. living in small town florida as a young person I felt like I has met these characters. light hearted good story.

I loved this funny, engaging and uniquely interesting book! I wish there was more from the series on audible.

I love these books and the narrator on audible. I have enjoyed reading the first half of this series.

it was very entertaining. I enjoyed the suspense. The only thing I would say is it was slow in some of the earlier parts but still awesome.
