Another thing I’m responsible for is the business side of things. I do all the taxes, bills, payroll, budget, and manage all the suppliers. If we run out of sugar, we’re in big trouble. It’s my job to make sure that doesn’t ever happen, along with all the other many ingredients we use on a daily basis.
You read about my big sister, Windy. She’s married now. Watching her fall in love was cool, but it also made me realize how old I was getting. We’re less than two years apart and she’s now married. I should be thinking about that step soon, but dating and I haven’t really gotten along in the past.
She’ll show up someday, just like my new brother-in-law did. I’m certainly not going out looking for her, I have too many responsibilities here to tend to. It happened for Windy, it can happen for me too. Somehow, she’ll show up. In the meantime I have fudge and taffy to make. Some chocolates and truffles too.
