Publisher's summary

Maddox Delaney wasn’t all that famous; she was well-known by association. Surrounded by her famous, coupled-off friends, Maddox had thought she had her chance at love. And when that didn’t work out, she wondered if she’d ever get another try. So, while a New Year’s Eve Party hosted by some of her closest friends isn’t really her idea of fun, it might just be what she needs to mend her broken heart.

Avery Simpson wasn’t quite sure how she had ended up at this party. She would much rather be working on her app instead of hanging out by herself at a New Year’s Eve party, hosted by none other than Peyton Gloss and Dani Wilder. When she’s ended up tagging along with her eccentric brother anyway, Avery feels out of place, and she’s definitely not planning on kissing anyone at midnight. That is, until she meets Maddox.

As the party unfolds, Maddox and Avery not only keep running into each other; they are finding excuses to. What happens when the clock strikes midnight? One night. One party. One midnight tradition. This is the story of how two women meet and decide to take a chance on something they’d never thought they’d have.

Instant Connection!

This is the third book in the Celebrities Series.

This is Maddox's story. She is the famous photographer who made an appearance in the first two books of the series. She's very down to earth. She's had her heart broken and reluctantly attends Peyton and Dani's New Year's Eve party. It's a rockin' party where she meets techy Avery, who is only there since her brother talked her into going.

Maddox was taking photos and sees a stunning Avery through her lens. The two have many interruptions during the night, but eventually connect. It's sweet and sensual and their attraction is magnetic.

The really famous characters in the group: Peyton and Dani and Lennox and Kenzi, are down to earth, funny, and very supportive of each other. It's a friend group that would be great to be a part of.

Melissa Moran is one of my favorite narrators! It was great to hear her bring the characters of the series back to life. I own the first two in audiobook, and was excited to hear she was going to finish the series!

This is a favorite series of mine by Nicole Pyland. Her creative ability is amazing. I feel a range of emotions with her books. She is one of my favorite authors and really underrated.

I highly recommend all of her books!

Sweet Romance

A sweet story with very little drama about a group of lesbian friends. It was okay a, little more sexual description than I like. Not one I’m anxiously waiting to reread.

Hot and Heavy and So Good

I didn’t realize I’d read one of the other books in this series (All the Love Songs), but I enjoyed it. It might have been one of the first books I’ve listened to in this genre and it really solidified my love for it.

This one jumped into it and didn’t stop. I don’t want to call this book the equivalent of the “lesbian u-haul” joke – but it started out with a meet-cute at a party where one was friends with everyone (including the main couple from All The Love Songs) and the other was only there because of her brother. But once things started – the majority of the book was the first 48 hours or so of their relationship. But, I also didn’t have a problem with anything I mentioned above.

When you know, you know. And Maddox and Avery had one of the hottest and quickest starting fires I’ve read in a book in a long time. Midnight Tradition was full of interesting things surrounded by a lot of hot and heavy scenes that were some of the best written I’ve ever come across. I think the chemistry mixed with the “perfect puzzle piece” fit that they had together made this one really stand out to me.

I also loved getting to hear about the characters from other books that I loved and getting little updates on their lives. Pyland was able to write a book that I flew through and one that I had a smile on my face from beginning to end. I couldn’t tell you who I liked more – the app-creating nerd Avery or the jet-setting photographer Maddox… they were both perfect and perfect for each other.

Add in the excellent performance by audiobook veteran Melissa Moran and you have a romance story that flew by and one that was a pleasure to listen to from beginning to end.

A Moment in Time

Maddox Delaney is a fairy well known photographer who hangs out with group of paired up lesbian couples. Not as lucky in love she’s not that anxious to go to the New Years Eve party at Peyton and Dani’s house. Avery Simpson is an app developer dragged to the party by her flamboyant brother. Maddox and Avery keep running into each other all evening and seem to have a great connection. Great sizzle and romance.
