Mercenary Kate Daniels tries to save her city from divine intervention in this dramatized audiobook in the #1 New York Times bestselling urban fantasy series.

As a mercenary who cleans up after magic gone wrong, Kate Daniels has seen her share of occupational hazards. Normally, waves of paranormal energy ebb and flow across Atlanta like a tide. But once every seven years, a flare comes, a time when magic runs rampant. Now Kate’s going to have to deal with problems on a much bigger scale: a divine one.

When Kate sets out to retrieve a set of stolen maps for the Pack—Atlanta’s paramilitary clan of shape shifters—she quickly realizes much more is at stake. During a flare, gods and goddesses can manifest and battle for power. The stolen maps are only the opening gambit in an epic tug of war between two gods hoping for rebirth, and if Kate can’t stop the cataclysmic showdown, Atlanta may not survive...

This dramatized audiobook also includes the Curran point of view story Soup.

Performed by Nora Sofyan, Michael Glenn, Danny Gavigan, Kelly Baskin, Robb Moreira, Chris Davenport, Emlyn McFarland, Dawn Ursula, KenYatta Rogers, Drew Kopas, Eva Wilhelm, Jonathan Lee Taylor, Tia Shearer, Ken Jackson, Bradley Foster Smith, Yasmin Tuazon, Tony Nam, Earl Fisher, Tanja Milojevic, Ryan Carlo Dalusung, Sheree Wichard, Jacob Yeh, Michael John Casey, K'Lai Rivera, Bianca Bryan, Colleen Delany, Debi Tinsley, Christopher Walker, and Alejandro Ruiz.

My favorite series I already have all the Audio in regular format narrated by Renee but I really think graphic audio makes it Way Better, I recommend this for fantasy romance lovers who love different voices and sounds

I have read the book, listened to the original audio book and just finished listening to this version for the second time. What keeps me coming back is their superior quality of world building and the depth of their character development. Even minor characters are given back stories and depth, not one note cardboard cutouts. ❤️

Love this series so much I bought it again!

I love this series and have all the books and most of the original audiobooks. So I was skeptical of buying a version of an audiobook I already have and love. But the way the cast did this made it come to life in a new way making me love this series even more. The cast is again perfect for each role and the music and sound effects don’t drown out spoken words, as sometimes happens in dramatized audiobooks, in my opinion. In addition, the added Curran POV scenes are an excellent addition to this already great book. So I strongly recommend this.

Worth the credit!

I truly love love the Kate Daniel’s series and have read and listened to the original audio book (which is good) i think they’d make great movies but until then the graphic audio are really the next thing!!! Such a fun and engaging listen!

I've read the entire series and I couldn't pass up the chance to listen to the Dramatized Adaptation version. The voice of Curran is purrrfect. And the bonus of Curran's POV at the end is like a cherry on top. Kate and Curran are the ultimate power couple!

Love this series!

I have read and listen to this book before.

The charters really come to life and they sound just like I thought they would when I was reading the book. When they say this is a move in your mind it really is.

I was listening to the story as was up with the baby and fell asleep and I could see what was happening as the book was going.

I can't wait for book three, four, and I really hope they do the whole series at some point. I wish other book were like this version.

You got the right people to Narrators to bring everyone to life again.

This book is so much better

I throughly enjoyed this story. This is the second book in the series with the world building having been played out in the first book. Even so, the authors flesh it out for any new readers. Thus, allow the book to stand alone. Although I believe that reading the books in series order will add to the experience.

With this second book we get some new characters. Julie comes in to Kate’s life, as well as Andrea, some new shifters, and a few new mystical characters. There are many layers to this tale, as well as a bucketful of action, and some comic relief.

I like this series so much I am rereading/listening to it for the second time in a six months span of time.

Intriguing adventure!

Ar first I was confused by many aspects in Book One. But I liked it enough to go ahead and get book 2. Ms. Andrew's take on a world flip flopping back and forth with magic is unique and interesting. In each book she reveals a little more that makes you want to keep going through that world. The main character is a bit stiff, but I think that's on purpose. You see, Kate has a 1930's/40s type of moxie and talks that way. She's very powerful, but isn't reckless. She doesn't do anything impulsively, yet she's not perfect. She makes mistakes and she pays for them.

I really like the interplay between Kate and Kern, the beast master. He's a hard one to figure out. But I think despite his rakish habits he has a special care for Kate that is developing into true love. Something I don't think he understands. The sexual tension between them is delicious.

This series would make a fantastic TV show. There's, literally, something for everyone here and while I'm a conservative, I can see how many aspects would appeal to people of alternative life styles very well. Ms. Andrews handles those situations pleasingly and with humor, yet bot mockery. I mean, in a world where some people can change their shape, how do you decide your gender that week?

Love it!
