Publisher's summary

Nolan must rob every store in a mall in one night—or his girlfriend dies.

Nolan and Jon have put their lives of crime behind them—but when a cruel adversary from their past resurfaces, they’re forced back into the heist game with a brutal ultimatum: pull off an insanely ambitious overnight robbery or Nolan’s kidnapped lover won’t live to see the morning.

Appearing in bookstores for the first time in thirty-five years (originally published under the title Spree) and on audio for the first time, Mad Money is Nolan’s biggest and deadliest job.

The longest and Best Nolan yet

4/5This was a fantastic Nolan novel. A little dated as some people may not actually remember a full shopping mall, much less being able to grasp how someone would rob it all in one night, but a blast nonetheless.

A great finale to the Nolan series

When Collins wrote this book, it was intended as the finale to the Nolan series. It's a great book in the "one last job" style. Nolan is brought in to one final heist with his rivals the Comfort family. This is perhaps the strongest in the Nolan series with very interesting characters and some good twists. Note that unlike the print edition (from hard case crime) this does not include the prequel "Mourn the living." But its still a great book. Oh, and Collins ended up writing one more in the series, called Skim Deep.

Excellent

This was a perfect ending to the series. In my opinion, the best book on the series.

The best yet

Between the stories and Stefan Rudnicki’s excellent narration these stories are my favorites and am looking forward to the newer adventures
