Love on the run....

Louisa Cunningham and Ward Brannon are on a mission: to escape the mess (and the families) they left behind.

But life on the road is more difficult than either of them expected. Out here, there might not be any rules, but there are also no longer any secrets...and nowhere to hide from each other.

You really need to listen to the whole series

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The narrator sure did give me some hot flashes lol

Any additional comments?

This is the first book of this series I have listened to, to be honest I felt lost and I feel sure it is because I have not listen/read the others in this series. I thought the book was great as well as well written. There are a lot and I do mean a lot of hot heated scenes.

Sarah Beth Goer as the narrator did a wonderful job. Since I felt lost and really couldn’t find my way in the story I took the time to really listen to her voice. She has a smooth clear voice with lots of passion in it. I could almost feel the love scenes as if I was there. If I didn’t know better I would think they really were doing it. You had not trouble knowing who was talking whether it was male or female if was an easy clear change. You were never left guessing what each character felt. There was no background noise just a clear pleasant listen. I give her a 5 star ++ for all the hot scenes she really put herself into.

I think it is only fair to the author to read or listen to the others in this series to really get the full impact. I feel I would have enjoyed it more had I started with book one and moved on from there.

Cunningham Family #3

I really liked this continuation of the 'Cunningham Family' series. The story started out ok, but quickly became good; if a bit predictable. Let me say this, though- HEA romances ARE at least somewhat predictable because of their very nature. So in that regard, nothing can be taken against the book, as far as I'm concerned.

The narrator did a wonderful job with the voices and I will certainly check out something else narrated by her.

I am considering going back and reading the first book in the series. (Once I finish a few more books on my TBR list, at least!)

Okay for a short story

I didn’t understand who the family was and why she was with him I. The first place? So the fact that you told me her family had money okay but was it today time or I. A different time period?

Take one female on the run and put her together with vibrant male, mix well and you have a steaming hot story.
Very nicely written, easy to read and held my interest to the end.
The narrator does her job well.
Good teamwork.

❁ Very Confused Because It Was Middle of Series

I must admit that this was kind of a confusing listen for me because it is the end of or near the end of a series and I have not listened to the preceding books in the series.

The book opens with Louisa Cunningham and Ward Brannon are on the run… A Bonnie & Clyde style road trip MINUS the crime. I'm not sure who they were running from but it is Louisa that is being pursued.

Louisa belongs to a wealthy family and when she fell in love with Ward (one of the workers on the estate in which she had lived) they were not allowed to stay together.

Louisa's face is on every front page of newspaper, titles similar to 'Missing Heiress' and such. So she and Ward have to keep a low profile or else she will be forced to return to the family estate.

This is a game of cat and mouse as Louisa & Ward try to keep out of the areas in which they may be recognized. The book was almost constant sex, which is good if that's what you like. There was also a lot of strong language.

I apologize for the confusing review. After *I was given a copy of this book to listen to in exchange for my thoughts, opinions & this review. I definitely advised that you start with Book One if you're considering this book. Read them in order. I would not consider this book to be a standalone.

This does seem to be an intriguing series and when I get through my TO LISTEN TO list, I may look to listen to the series in the order.

I think I've reviewed Sarah Beth Goer before, but her narration deserves a glowing report. Her narration was spot on. Her performance was near-perfect. She is able to pull off both male and female characters in a believable manner. That is my "high bar" for performers.

Holy hotness!!

This audiobook was provided by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review courtesy of Audiobook Blast. The narrator did an awesome job of capturing the passion and intensity of the character and VERY adult situations. The book was written so well I felt kind of dirty listening to this book. Well worth a credit and the time to listen. Can't wait to read more by this author.

Lost and Found

Lost and Found: A Cunningham Family Novel is the second book of Her Wicked Heart series. The story starts with Louisa (Lou) Cunningham and Ward Brannon leaving everything behind them. Lou knew that Ward's father would be looking for her after she has accidentally ruined a fundraiser which is hosted by him.

She also tried to persuade Ward in establishing a relationship with his father. Ward refused to leave her side in their road trip. Ward also has anger issues with his father for abandoning him and allowing his mother and him to fend for themselves. As far as he is concerned, he does not want to know his father.

Lou is so messed up in her head after her father has passed away and her family's fortune gone. She has never had a healthy relationship. Every time she gets into a situation, she has always ran. Fleeing the Huntington Manor is no different from what she does except this time, Ward is coming with her

During her road trip with Ward, she is discovering herself and Ward. As both discovered their physical, sexual, and emotion bonds, they also discovered that they are no different from their way of life. Lou may has grown up rich and always has on the tabloid is nothing new to her. She now has to protect Ward from the media. Ward has grew up poor but is discovering having money doesn't change anything except his life has gotten complicated.

Lost and Found is about Lou and Ward finding their way to each other and how they fit into the world from two different sides. It is about relationship and standing by each other when things get rough. Alone, both have lost their purpose but together, they found their purpose from each other.

The narrator, Sarah Beth Goer does a wonderful job of narrating from Lou's point of view. There were several hot scenes and I have to give her credos for narrating through these scenes. She is quite a professional narrator. I also love how the narrator shows that Lou is just floundering in the water and is examining her former life and her life with Ward.

I was given this audiobook by the author/narrator/publisher via Audiobook Blast in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated or influenced in any way for writing this review.

They keep getting better!

--I was given a copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

I love this series. It does not get old like some that are more than a trilogy. The Cunningham family is always bringing new and fresh stories for us. This is the second main book of Louisa and Ward's story. Lou is a total mess, trying to cope with the death of her father and the loss of her privileged life. Ward is running from his birth father, who now owns the Cunningham's former estate. The two are set on an adventure of running, fighting, loving, and lots of sex(did I mention how hot those scenes are?). While running, Lou and Ward learn about themselves, what they want, where they are going, will it be together? The growth of the two characters is incredible and you see them blend together and learn to cope with life and love. We do get to see Lily and Calder as well..and the surprise ending, well, you will just have to read the book!

Sarah Beth Goer narrates this story. Her narration has become the Cunningham family for me, and I love it. It's like coming home, knowing each character that is speaking, and it totally fits my picture of who they are.

Deliciously Endearing

I enjoyed this one. I hadn't read/listened to any of the other books in the series, but it didn't take me long to catch up. I adored Ward for sticking with Lou and making her his top priority. It probably didn't hurt that there were plenty of rewards along the road ;)

I am curious about what kinds of antics Lou got up to at the estate, so I may go back and listen to the other books in this series.

The narration was great, quality sound and editing.
