Publisher's summary

The psychic abilities of most humans are dampened by the clatter of our conscious minds. In this timely audiobook, Russell Targ shows listeners how to quiet this noise and see into the far reaches of time and space through remote viewing. He also illuminates the phenomena of intuitive medical diagnosis and distant healing in a groundbreaking synthesis of research and empirical data.

Drawing on a broad range of spiritual traditions, Targ demonstrates that these psychic abilities offer a path of self-inquiry and self-realization and have the power to expand each person's limited awareness into the consciousness shared by all beings. Targ explores the scientific and spiritual implications of remote viewing, as well as offering practical techniques and exercises to nurture this universally available but often untapped skill.

Excellent, more than I expected.

I read this because I was curious about remote viewing and Russell Targ delivered a great book. I would recommend it. The narrator was fine but I think Russell could have narrated it better himself.

Wonderful.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, I don’t agree however, that Puritanism is responsible for the imbalance of the American psyche, but is in fact the product of a different religious influence altogether, along with media programming and ample toxicities, and not just in the US but worldwide.

A masterpiece

This book lends scientific explanation to intuited feelings and experiences. I love Russell Targ’s work. In the chapter discussing ESP Russell cited Barbara Brennan, when he mentioned her book Hands of Light my heart flipped over in my chest. I ran to the book shelf where I had several books from my late grandmothers house. My grandmother was a pioneer thinker, and philosopher. I am now reading that book with a far more open mind. Thank you for your honest and open dialogue Russell!

Eye opening

Needs a very open mind to comprehend the possibilities. Once you hear what has been accomplished under scientific conditions, almost every hardened skeptic will at least be open to learning and researching more.

Enjoyed the book

I liked the content of the book. It answered some questions I had about abilities. I disliked that there weren’t some specifics of the information that was uncovered and how they learned to use the ability.

I love the book!

After seeing the past comments… I thought I would elaborate.

If you watch ancient aliens then the narrator will not bother you at all! For those who do not watch the series, I can see how it can take some getting used to.

I do not feel like the performance adds or takes away from the book at all. Listen to the message. Definitely stay for the last two chapters of you feel like throwing in the towel.

This has helped me be more decisive in things that I thought I already knew. Thank you!

The power of knowing yourself and loving kindness.

Everything in this book I have experienced or simply understood when I heard it. This book is a valuable teacher to help one understand cosmic awareness. Listening to it was refreshing and inspiring.

Clear presentation

It gives a good understanding about the greatness of our mind and it’s place in understanding the bigger picture of human nature. The importance of the mind and intention.
