About this listen

The cats are back!

Her brief return to Earth is at an end, and Florence Valentine is ready to start rebuilding her dungeon.

Florence and Doug have big plans for their new home, but all is not well in the world of Aerkon. A bargain struck with the lich Berikoz may cost her more than she realized, and it seems like everyone wants to see her new home destroyed.

Liches, dungeon pests, evil adventurers, and powerful guilds stand against her, and Florence’s allies are few and far between. Will Florence, Doug, and her kitty defenders be strong enough to protect everything they’ve built?

Great fantasy world, amazing adventure, strong female characters. I really like the adventure with Florence and Doug and I'm excited to read the third book which is out!

cats

the cats are back with a lot of twists and way more action. Florence valentine is back in her stuck up ways and she ain't changing but definitely growing. if you enjoyed the first one don't hesitate to grab the sequel

Unique

This series is nice for spicing up your dungeon core gamelit list. Hits some cliches but not all of them at all.

She's Back

Florence is back and more creative than ever. She met an old friend and almost died again, but that old girl will not go down. I look forward to the next book.

Awesome

I feel like somebody dared the author to write the weirdest series they could think of, and somehow they ended up writing an amazing story. It’s weirdly awesome! Also, Andrea parsneau is amazing of course.

Great story, but sadder then i like

I loved the books. I'm a cat nut and gamer so I was really enjoying it. But.. the killing was a touch to graphic and it wasnt that bad, but for some reason upset me some. But i had to skip the last 3-4 chapters, To wordy and to sad, had a great build and the end is nice, but I just feel let down. Loved Andrea Parsneau, and would love to hear more stories she reads.

some plotholes, but a fun story

it's a solid entertainment story if you want to listen to a karen cat lady become a dungeon, just expect some plotholes, and some dumb decisions.

Florence and her cats are always entertaining!

I really enjoyed listening to this book... How could I not, it's narrated by Andrea Parsneau (one of my favorites) plus Florence Valentine, and Doug are back!
The book starts out where we last left our intrepid two, living out the end of Florence's days playing D&D at the local gaming shop and of course when that comes to an end Florence finds herself facing another cave system! Not one to fuss, she rolls up her sleeves and gets busy recreating her home! Again I repeat, the story, the cats, how can you not love this book!
But at the end of the day I felt unsettled, melancholic even... and yes I wanted more but it went deeper than that, I realized the book was more of a bridge written just to get the reader from bk1 to bk3 so there's that!

here's a couple of quotes that gave me a grin 😀!

"Oh yes, there were some kitty cat claws with that goblin’s name on them."

“I am no mere kitten. Nae, I am the Great and Mighty Doug, caretaker and advisor to this home."

"Welcome to the Valentine residence. This is a neutral area where you can rest and plan your delve. Please use caution and wipe your feet before entering the home. Beware of Doug."
