Publisher's summary

Every man has his price.

Coming out of the Dakotas with a little bit of extra scratch was more than I could have reasonably expected, given how much trouble we'd found ourselves in. Little did I know how much deeper the rabbit hole could go.

When I was offered a job to hunt down and stop a group of flamboyant assassins, I immediately said what any self-respecting poker player would say: No. No way. Absolutely not. Are you out of your mind?

What's that? Four hundred thousand? Nah. Can't spend it if you're dead.

Say that again? You're offering me what?

I tried to hold out, folks. I really did. But every man has his price, so Cougs, Ruse, Kahni, and I found ourselves on the road toward the city of my dreams, and the absolute last place I should ever go.

Viva Las Vegas!

Warning: This book has adult themes, including a slow-burn harem and violence.

One of the best stories I've ever listened to.

This series isn't what I was looking for when my interest in erotica first started. I just wanted to find a sexy tale with decent a decent story. This and the rest of the series is a lot more than that. Multiple points in this story got me choked up. That's what I normally want from a story and just wasn't expecting it in this genre at all. If anyone discounts this writer because its erotica, that's their loss.

Holy Crap!

I’m begging the author to write the next book. This was so good! And I need to know how the crazy girlfriend arc ends.

So good!

This series is phenomenal. Probably cebelus’ best series to date. I can’t wait for the next one.

Scary good start

Almost all Cebelius stories have just enough stupid things the MC does to frustrate you but it ultimately works out in the end. Great series and I wish the MC gained some means to protect himself better against people with powers other than a standard gun.

good story

Like all Cebelius books this is a great story but I'm not a fan of PG13 harem books

Great story

Transformers meets harem awesomeness in this fantastic series. Main character is charming and hilarious, and each of his companions have unique and well thought out personalities. Well done!

Freaking amazing

I had a lot of fun listening to this. Both the narration were on point, though the Banter was definitely my favorite.

He's too good.

The man cannot be stopped everything he writes turns into pure gold. Another great addition to the series. Voice acting was excellent as always.

Story hiatus?

Superhero, harem fade-to-black, alternate timeline

Love the dual narration, it truly adds to the audio experience. This narrator pairing works well, and they are obviously comfortable together. The edits are subtle, but noticeable with Daniel as the timbre of his voice is different.

I really like Cebelius' writing, even giving his villain series Mountain King a try. His new series, Would You Love A Monster Girl? has sold really well, and he commented that it was hard to justify writing a series that sold much more poorly in comparison, so sadly, it may be a long while before we get another TAP novel. It's not a cliffhanger, but the reveal at the end raised a lot of questions, and it was the first glimpse of the most dangerous villain in the milieu. Recommended, but be forewarned the next novel may be a few years away, if ever.
