Publisher's summary

“This is Clive Barker on hallucinogens... Jiggly makes Pennywise seem like a reasonable choice to babysit your children” ~ Musings of the Monster Librarian

Carnivals, Cannibals, and Clowns. Oh My!

Wanna go for a ride?

Meet Jigglyspot, a five-foot tall half human half warlock carnival clown who spends his free time moonlighting as a drug dealing pimp and lackey for demonic entities who prey on the weak and vulnerable, casting their dark shadow across humanity through manipulation, and fear.

Jigglyspot was selected to serve as the event coordinator for 2019’s Summer Solstice Celebration at the prestigious Cannibal Café. A celebration that brings together both demon and human alike. But with less than two weeks before the celebration, Jigglyspot’s got so much to do and little time to do it. And the feds are hot on his tail. Between securing new recruits for demonic possession, choosing fresh bodies to slice and dice for dinner, and the fact that his girlfriend, Kera, is eating up most of his time, Jiggly’s at his wit’s end.

Hopefully, those demons appreciate all his sacrifices. Hopefully, but unlikely. Those demons can be hell to deal with. Jigglyspot knows; he’s been dealing with them for decades.

Discover Jigglyspot and his cast of clowns, killers, demons, and wretched fiends, in a novel like you’ve never experienced. Horror, mayhem, thrills, chills, fantasy, and spoils are waiting for your ears with an escape into the underworld of mind control and human slavery.

Fans of Grady Hendrix, Catriona Ward, Clive Barker, and Stephen King will be captivated by this edge of your seat, eye-popping, wtf horror novel that is certain to be your next addictive listen. As they say, you don’t just listen to Jigglyspot… You DEVOUR Jigglyspot! After all, if you were a demon, what would you think of humanity?

Unique Concept

This book was an interesting journey. There’s a LOT going on here. A LOT. Several different horror and Sci Fi concepts are melded together to create the story around the main character, Jigglyspot.

The book has some really good moments. I was super interested in the story at the beginning because I thought I had an idea where it was going. But, then it went a completely different direction and I lost interest.

It’s great that it’s not predictable, but it’s just too much, in my humble opinion. I think if the book had been broken into a trilogy, and told in a slightly different manner, it would have been more enjoyable. That said, if you like books with several stories lines and a variety of tropes, you will likely love it! It has some great moments.

Oh what a ride! And the narration 🤌🏻🤌🏻

Jigglyspot and the Zero Intellect by PD Alleva:
Clowns, aliens, cannibals, multiple dimensions, what more could you ask for?!
Multiple pov with a lot of details so this definitely a book you need to have full focus on. The character development is amazing so I was able to connect to most of the characters and care about what happens to them. So many twists and turns, it's hard to predict what will happen next! David Samuels was a great narrator; tone fluctuating and changing voices for each character made it very enjoyable, especially with such a long book.

This is the first book I've read by Alleva and I am hooked.

Bit of violence, bit of comedy, bit of alien clown

2.5 This epic tale starts to ramp up about midway through but it was just too much for me. Too many characters, too many explanations, too many sub plot lines... I appreciate the overall story but a little more focus into one character's theme/actions would have made this one a better listen for me.
