About this listen

When I get separated from the other members of my Antarctic expedition, I meet a strange, pale, beautiful man who saves me from freezing to death. He says he's the actual Jack Frost, and he's pretty much an ice god, which totally messes with my scientific worldview. I'm all too happy to leave his fine frosty ass at the South Pole and head back to the States where things are messy but not magical. Too bad the charming ice god follows me home. Guess he likes me, or he's magically attracted to me or something? Jack is the last thing I need now, right when I'm starting a new job; but I can't help being curious about his powers and his ongoing war with the fire goddess Auxesia. Too bad my association with Jack puts us both in more danger. Contains mature themes. Trigger and content warnings are available on the author's website.©2021 Rebecca F. Love this series!!

This was the first time I have listen to any by Rebecca Kenney. She will be a guest author for one of the book convention I will be attending this year. I am totally hooked though! I LOVED Jack. Such a fun character. I love the romantic twist on the the story line. Sexy time is not over the top. It has a really good story line to it! Perfect "adult" fairytale. I plan to listen to the whole series and more. I look forward to meeting this author in person. The narrator did a fabulous job too!

Lets get frosty

This was a cute love story wrapped up with some real human issues. The narrator did a wronderful job of giving Emery snd Jack a voice and bringing them to life.

Christmas romantacy

Cute fantasy romance, perfect for Christmas. Not the best narration but still enjoyable. I will probably read it every Christmas especially since there are few Christmas fantasy romance novels to choose from.

I need a Jack Frost in my life.

This story was absolutely amazing. The book is an reimagined of Jack Frost with a little bit of spice. Emery is a climate activist and she’s currently in Antarctica filming when she gets lost and ends up finding a crystal castle and inside she finds someone sleeping. She has no choice but to wake him up because she’s dying and needs help. Jack safes this strange women but now he can’t help but feel better every time he’s around her. Jack is goals as a love partner, his the perfect boyfriend/ husband. The ending was unexpected but still delicious. I recommend this book a thousand times none stop.

Most annoying, emotionally immature, and stuck up FMC of all time.

I wanted to love this so much as I adore the lore of Jack Frost, but Emery is the most annoying FMC of all time. She’s truly so frustrating I considered stopping this book 1,500 + times. I have a rule that I don’t quit as one or two books over the years have surprised me… but this never got any better for Emery. She only has a single friend because she a stuck up, dense, ridiculous CHILD. Every single children’s picture books features more relatable characters than Emery, even peppa freaking pig.

Jack is adorable though and the audible performance was well done.
