Publisher's summary

Fortune waits deep in the Alaskan wilderness—for those brave enough to face it.

When a war-weary veteran embarks deep into the pristine Alaskan frontier in search of solitude and healing, he discovers a profound spiritual awakening that holds the key to overcoming his trauma and finding his long-sought redemption.

Sam McGee thought he left conflict behind. But when Russia sells Alaska to the American settlers in 1867, it opens up a fresh world of promise, adventure . . . and unspeakable danger. Sam hopes to escape his turbulent past—but as he forges deep friendships with the native Tlingit people, he’s quickly thrust into a rising dispute over land rights, wildlife, and two fundamentally opposing worldviews.

The settlers dream of building a new society. But the natives fear it could spell the destruction of their cherished and untamed wilderness. Torn between his loyalty to his fellow frontiersmen and his growing reverence for the land, Sam struggles to walk a delicate line between human ambition and nature’s fury in a vast and unforgiving landscape that pushes survival to its limits.

Can Sam find the peace he craves in the rugged lands of Sitka? Or will the inevitable clash of cultures end in a tragedy that will shape Alaska forever?

Step into a thrilling historical adventure novel that brings the northern frontier to life with gritty and authentic detail. Exploring profound themes of human greed, progress, cultural conflict, and the deadly beauty of untamed nature, Into the Alaskan Frontier is a must-listen for fans of Northern Western fiction.

Historical Frontier Fiction

This story is based on historical facts dine up as fiction. Based on tge sale of Alaska from the Russian by the American government in 1867. It demonstrates that unscrupulous, greedy people tried to destroy the native caretakers, their culture and way of life. This is a very educationally written story that gives people insight into the past. Narrator does a Fair job with this story.
