Lots of hype and self-adulation. Not much content!
What would have made In Bed with Susie Bright 500: The Best of 'In Bed with Susie Bright': Our 500th Episode Birthday Party better?
Perhaps those who have listened to other informative episodes may enjoy listening to caller after caller after caller congratulating Susie for her 500th episode. I didn't.
I read the reviews of numerous interesting sounding episodes and decided to try one to see if these are as good as the reviews suggest. Well what better episode than Susie's 500th that apparently contains her highlights and gets a 5.0 rating from her reviewers! Right?
Wrong! If you can get through the countless callers at the start who congratulate Susie then you should be into the meaty stuff. Right?
Wrong. With the greatest of respect to Susie's departed father I really didn't expect to find at the start of a highlights real her father singing an Indian love song, out of key and incomprehensible. I can understand this has special significance for Susie and belongs in her treasure trove of sentimental moments with her father. But on a public best of the best real?
Anyway if you still haven't switched off you'll now be into the great stuff that Susie's other reviewers refer to. Right?
Wrong! Another barrage of self adulation with caller after caller congratulating Susie. Groan!!!!! How did I last this far? No more please. Off goes the podcast never to be endured again.
I suggest cutting all the congratulatory callers and make up a free compilation to be provided with every S&M dungeon torture kit.

If I was to take another chance with my valuable time and listen to another episode or two, which ones would you recommend? Please don't tell me there's a 300th or 400th celebratory episode or I'll see through your thinly disguised warped sense of humor!
