The audiobook provides a comprehensive guide to recognizing toxic behaviors in ourselves and others, offering valuable insights into the underlying causes and how they can affect our relationships. Through engaging narration, it delves into the complex nature of toxic behaviors, often rooted in unresolved childhood trauma. This personal journey helped me identify my own toxic tendencies, particularly in how I interact with my spouse, and understand the triggers that fuel these behaviors.

One of the standout aspects of the audiobook is its focus on healing techniques, particularly mindfulness. Overall, this audiobook is an invaluable resource for anyone looking to better understand and address their toxic behaviors. So many great tips!

This audiobook is a great listen for anyone that wants to either stop being toxic or wants to better understand their toxic partners or friends. I can definitely see how the tips within this book can help lead to healthier relationships moving forward. I really liked the rational mindfulness approach, since it uses both rational thinking and mindfulness to help you understand your emotions better and change the way you react to things. The summaries are also great to recap the chapter and pull out the bullet point versions of what's needed to know. Great listen!

So much detail!

In one way, perhaps I've found this audiobook a little overwhelming. However, it wouldn't be fair to mark it down for that; it just means it's got a lot of information and depth in it. It's narrated very clearly by an English man who speaks as if directly to you (a style I like) and there are many interesting points. I feel I've enhanced my awareness of behaviours. Other people's and my own. It explains about narcicism and self-interest and other manipulative approaches we humans use. It's very insightful and useful to know all this.

A concise guide to better relationships!

This book is great as it offers a clear and structured path to healthier and more fulfilling relationships but utilizing rational thinking, emotional intelligence, and mindfulness. It covers things like the Rational Mindfulness Framework (RMF) and CBT worksheets. The thing that makes this standout in a world flooded with information is the bullet points included at the end of every chapter and separated into their own chapters for easy access. In today's day and age there is an abundance of information and it is easy to get lost in the sauce. This format allows you to quickly recap the main ideas in an convenient place. Overall great for people looking to strengthen their relationships or break free from toxic ones.
