Cowboys make the best friends, but can they also make the best boyfriends?

Wyatt Hamilton has been my best friend since I was in diapers. He is the yin to my yang and we’ve always been inseparable. But now I’m trying to break away because I’m ready to find a man that looks at me as more than his best friend. I’m looking for a boyfriend and a husband and I’m not going to find him if Wyatt Hamilton is always hanging around me like some sort of overprotective big brother.

He considers me his favorite cowgirl, but I’m looking for a man that just wants to make me his woman. But Wyatt isn’t getting the hint that I need my space. I’m doing everything in my power to ensure that he sees that I’m now a woman and I’m looking for a man. Even if that means that we can’t be in each other’s lives as much anymore.

I never expected for him to react in the way that he did. I never expected to find out that my best friend wasn’t just a cowboy, but a confident, sexy alpha male as well.

We get it. Best Friends.

Was excited to listen to this since I really enjoyed the other books in the series. However this one… left a lot to be desired. It dragged on, also the constant repeat of he’s/she’s my best friend. Swear if you made it a drinking game you would have alcohol poisoning.
Narration should have been done by male and female. Since they give you both point of views.

good read

even though the narrator didn't put to much emotion while reading and was hard to identify when was the male or female, I believe the story is good and keep you next to it because you just wanted to get to the point, or if things will develop with the characters.

Is no stars an option - horrible, DNF

Quit halfway through chapter 2. Narration was terrible, no attempt at sounding male. Male lead character was completely unlikable.

Disappointing

I normally prefer books that are part of a series, because they continue developing stories and characters that readers have come to know and love as well as excite the reader for what comes next. This book did not fit that description for me. There were several times that the story seemed to be written by a different author than the first two books in the series, almost as if it was written by AI. The previous book in this series was narrated in duet, which would have made this book better.
