 Welcome to the seaside town of New Shrimpton, where magic is in the air, shrimp can be scooped up by the barrel, and a murderer hides in plain sight… Alice Munroe is the only PI in town, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have a little help. After being tempted into using black magic to solve the case, Alice loses her powers, leaving her in a state of dismay. Lucky for her, help comes in the form of her spitfire Aunt Penny. it's a decent story. I'd read more by this author. wish aunt Penny had stayed and teamed up.
