Informative and a smart listen
I found the subject and content interesting. There is usable information here. I approach it as a take what works for you and leave what doesn't.
This isn't a short book and there is a good deal to process through. I back-tracked often to be sure that I grasped the content.
The narration is difficult to get through. It was slow and monotone. Not inappropriate for a text book but not attention holding enough to keep the listener in the moment.

Literally a lifesaver!
This is so incredibly densely packed with good information that I despaired, thinking I'd have to sit and listen through a second time with a notebook. But *Spoiler Alert* - don't despair! Periodically a code is given to allow the listener to download the valuable lists.
There's a certain amount of repetition, but this ensures that no matter which section you find of interest, it will cross-reference and tell you where important subtopics are covered in more depth.
I was thrilled to receive this audiobook as a review copy, given the cost of the paper version at the time of my listening is half a week's food budget for me. I was hesitant to spend so much. But shortly after I started listening, I began experimenting with the author's advice and discovered the basics alone have made an incredible difference in my health. Enough that I will be following the author's recommendations in greater depth.
The section on which fruits are more prone to contamination and which I can save money on when I can't afford to fully pursue organic foods (the Filthy Fourteen) is a saver. And learning to find hidden sugars and how a name brand spaghetti sauce has more sugar than a Krispy Kreme donut - well worth the listen. Watching my clothes loosen just in the short time it's taken me to give a first listen (and you'll want to go back again to refresh and go into greater detail) is an added side effect.
The author cites his sources, has intriguing quotations, and provides checklists and recommendations. Best of all, he explains how he came to write this book following a personal health crisis. Learning how often the first symptom of a major health problem is death certainly got my attention!
The sheer encyclopedic breadth as well as depth makes this book a good choice if you can only buy one. Hopefully my review gives a clue how much good information is packed in. I can't tell you how many times I stopped to jot something down before I realized how much was provided on his website.

Lots of helpful information!
I really enjoyed listening to this audio! It provided tons of helpful information on living your healthiest life. I got a lot of tips that I plan on implementing in my life and suggesting to my husband. Highly recommend this one to anyone who is interested in their health and wellness.

Worth Having In Library
