I truly appreciate the work that went into this series. It is akin to the backstories you get of Olympic athletes. Various sports were from the perspective of the humans that play them. Lots of lessons to be learned here and inspiration to be had. Thank you so much for producing this and sharing it with your listeners

Gamebreaker with Keith Olbermann is a fantastic example of top-notch storytelling in the podcast format, which just happens to be about sports. The 10 episodes of the podcast's first season explore subjects as light-hearted as NHL enforcer John Scott and his once-joke, now-feel-good All-Star Game selection to one as serious as the Steubenville rape case, which is treated with an in-depth, three-episode examination. High-quality production and excellent narratives make the episodes a pleasure to listen to. The Gamebreaker staff have done a great job pulling from all over the sporting landscape, presenting stories that will be both familiar and unfamiliar to listeners. I sincerely hope that there is more to come from this promising program!

Top-notch storytelling

Totally riveting. The stories are amazing, and the presentation of each one is so, so masterful. Totally worth your time; your jaw will drop, and you'll spend each episode on the edge of your seat. Each story is told through the perspective of several people who were involved-- family, friends, neighbors, coaches etc, etc-- so you really feel like you're getting the full breadth of it. A couple of the episodes are pretty heavy, but the stories they tell are so, so important.

It was just so good. I'll definitely be going back for a re-listen, A+++++
