Publisher's summary

I should have known everything was going to change when she walked into my tattoo shop...

Timid as hell and gorgeous to the extreme. I knew better than even thinking about touching a woman like that.

My life is dangerous.

My calling wicked.

Willing to cross any line to protect the innocent.

I thought I’d never see her again until my little boy tumbled and busted his lip, and I found her working at the doctor’s office.

The woman who’d taken possession of my thoughts.

When it becomes clear she’s in trouble, I offer up a deal.

Twenty questions to earn her trust.

Too bad trusting me is the last thing she should do.

With one kiss, I’m addicted. With one night, we’re falling into a passion greater than either of us has ever known.

The voices in my head warn I can never keep her. She can’t know the secret life I lead.

Only she’s keeping a secret, too.

And I’ll do whatever it takes to keep her safe, even if it means losing everything…

Loved every second!

A.L Jackson did not disappoint! I always eagerly await the release of each of her books and this one was one of my favorites. I can’t wait to see what’s next in the series. Andi Arndt was of course amazing and this was my first time hearing the male narrator and I felt he did a good job as well. If you are considering purchasing, don’t wait, it is well worth it!

Steamy, emotional and action packed

Oh my gosh, what a fantastic start to this new series! “From Here to Eternity” is a steamy, emotional and action packed romance that hooked me from the beginning.

Charlie’s life from the last five years has not been easy. She’s been hiding from her abusive ex and finally had the courage to get a tattoo that means something to her. And when she walks into a tattoo shop, she’s met with a gruffy man who stirs something inside of her. River is a tattoo artist, spending time with his son, Nolan, and also helping people that need extra help. Charlie was the last person River was expecting but he can’t seem to forget her. And when something from Charlie’s past threatens her, River steps up to protect her.

I’m absolutely in love with Charlie and River. Charlie was someone I connected with right away and I loved her more even as the story went on. Her backstory broke my heart but her finding River is what she needed. And the instant bond she had with his sister, Raven, was the girlhood friendship I needed in this book. River is the ultimate alpha book boyfriend. He’s protective, caring, and will do whatever he needs to do to make sure Charlie is safe. The chemistry is instant from the first meet at the tattoo shop and only grew as the story went on. Nolan was such a cute kid and his happiness was so infectious. This book had a crazy plot twist that I didn’t see coming! It had me gasping as it was revealed. The ending was perfect and I can’t wait for from this series.

Andi Arndt and Andy Stone narrated this audio and they were the perfect choice. Andi was so passionate as Charlie, she brought her caring and vulnerable side alive. Austin is a new to me narrator and I loved his voice so much. His performance was passionate and protective just like River.

Amazing audio and story!

Listened 11/5-11/6 and was quite entertained. I’m fairly new to audio and this kept my attention throughout. The narrators did excellent jobs in their roles and side characters.

Not only was the performance entertaining, but the story was incredible! I guess the twist about halfway through but it still blew me away! What a great storyline and setup for this new series!

Audible ruined this wonderful book!

This story was absolutely beautiful and exciting, as I’ve come to expect from A.L. Jackson. She’s so incredibly talented in weaving romantic stories that stick with me for years later, many I have read over and over again. However, Audible and Kindle app issues pulled me out of this story leading me to need help. The issues have been occurring for months where books and audio do not sync or download correctly and I’m going to have to start purchasing A.L. Jackson’s books from other vendors if Amazon doesn’t fix these issues. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a romance where a girl down-on-her-luck falls in love with a morally gray, sexy do-gooder. ❤️💕

Beautiful Story

A.L. Jackson can do no wrong to me. Her work is genius and I love each and every story. This one moved a little slow for me, that is the ONLY reason for 4*'s instead of 5. Worth the credit though, no doubt.

Plot Twist

I absolutely adore this story! Charleigh and River, it was insta lusty/love, but I really loved it and it was a slow burn too! Both characters have an air of mystery about them, but slowly start to let each other in. He knows she’s on the run from something hence her nick name “little runner”. She knows he’s a good guy that may be doing some bad things. Their story has a lot of push and pull and so much tension! Nolan is the freaking cutest kid and I love how he calls River Daddy O! The plot twist I figured out right before it happened and I’m still shook! This story was so much fun! It had a slightly slow start for me, otherwise fantastic read!

intoxicating and addictive

to say i’m already obsessed with this new series al jackson has created would be a huge understatement. i was completely hooked right from the start and didn’t want to stop reading for anything. i listened to the audiobook and it was *chef’s kiss* the portrayal of charleigh and river that andi arndt and austin stone gave was amazing. they brought those two characters to life so well. a very enjoyable listening experience indeed.

i was so taken with charleigh and wanted to shield her from everything that was cruel and bad. her life hasn’t been what she envisioned and she’s been through some horrible things. and it was serendipitous that she happened to stumble upon a tattoo shop without knowing that the owner would be the missing piece she didn’t know she was searching for.

river has been through some things of his own. and yeah, you might say they’re unspeakable but he had his reasons and i don’t fault him one bit. he may come off as ruthless and broody, but when it comes to his family which is his son, sister, and band of brothers he would go to the ends of the earth to protect them at all cost. and he might not think it, but his heart is pure gold.

charleigh and river were everything. it was fate how they came into each other lives. it’s as if the world was working its magic in bringing them together. the attraction was evident and their chemistry was scorching. but what was even better was the connection they had, it was intense and electrifying. they were so good together and were exactly what each other needed. and how can i not mention nolan, he was such a light and breath of fresh air. river, charleigh, and nolan were just so special. i loved and adored them so much.

from here to eternity knocked me on my heels. obviously i couldn’t get enough of the single dad trope. this ex motorcycle club, and small town romance brought the action, suspense as well as all the emotions. i fell so hard for these characters and can’t wait to learn more about them. i’m especially jonesing for the next book knowing who it’s going to be and i’m already ravenous!

Outstanding Story, New Series & Narration🎧

A.L. Jackson continues to amaze me with another fantastic novel, a small town romantic suspense that is captivates your attention and tugs at your heartstrings the entire time. This first book of her “Moonlit Ridge” series is Charleigh and River’s story, it also introduces us to side/support characters who are River’s found family, I loved the complexity and depth of all the characters and am looking forward to learning more about them in books of their own. Charleigh comes into River’s tattoo shop looking for a tattoo, normally he does not take walk-ins, actually he is booked well into the future, but the person in his chair, his friend, ended their session, leaving River free and feeling compelled he took her as a client. There was something about her that drew her to him, and when he saw the tattoo she wanted, it was one that resonated with him. He also sensed she was running from something or someone. Charleigh does not want to get involved with anyone or bring her into her messed up and dangerous world, but she felt safe with River and River was not about to give up on her. I loved how everything played out in this multilayered story, a story that has the perfect balance of drama, angst, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. Like all A.L. Jackson books, the writing, plot and world building are incredible, as are the character growth and development. Thank you for another outstanding story and the wild and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 Andi Arndt and Austin Stone deliver an amazing performance, bringing these characters to life, humanizing them while giving each a voice that was fitting. I loved how they took their roles and made them their own sounding believable and just as I imagined the characters to sound, both showcasing all aspects of their characters’ personality.with Arndt nailing it as Charleigh, from her insecurities to her fierceness, and Stone doing the same as River, a take charge over protective alpha with a caring heart. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling them all. These two made a great narration team, with talent and voices that complemented each other and a performance that elevates the already amazing story to another level. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thanks for another exceptional listen.
