Good

I don't normally listen to short stories but this one leads to a longer story so I tried it and glad I did. It's a great lead in! Can't wait to hear the rest of the story.

I'm intrigued

Considering the author wrote this originally as a 12 year old it's pretty impressive. It does show the authors age, it reads a bit like a role playing game, lots of shooting, explosions, and action in general. There's not a lot of plot or character development, but part of that is due to length, what there is of it fits together well and forms a good story.

If you're looking for a short action piece and you don't mind lots of collateral damage then this would hit the spot.

The narration is clear and well paced, the character voices carry the tension of the scenes well and it's enjoyable to listen to.

I received a free copy of this book from the author and/or narrator and/or publisher and I voluntarily wrote this honest review.

Short, but good

I went into this story knowing that it was written by a 12 year old. It is well written! There were some instances of the descriptions or the dialogue that I could see his youth, but, all in all, I was not disappointed.
I listened to the audiobook version of this and Samuel Deeter did the story justice. His narration and characters felt right for the story. I will be listening to the 2nd book!

This story is well plotted. However, I actually found that now I am looking forward to the next installment of the story for this bookseries! The narrator Sam Deeter has a great voice for this project the book I think would he good unspoke, but I think Mr Deeter has brought it to life and had me on the edge of my set! Well done to both the author and Mr Deeter!"This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review."

Freebird

The plot is difficult to follow. Snipers galore, dead children aplenty and , enemy tanks . According to the author, this was written during his younger years so there is room for improvement. Narration is good.
