Publisher's summary

Scout Randall always considered herself a big-city girl. Then she got transferred to rural northern Lower Michigan by Spell’s Angels, the monster-hunting biker gang that’s been her sole reason for being since her tempestuous teenage years, and everything she thought she believed started to shift.

Gunner Stratton has a long history in Hawthorne Hollow. Everyone knows him...and the female population has never shied away from his particular brand of charm. However, all of the accolades and adoration pale in comparison to what he feels when he’s introduced to Scout.

Together (along with their merry band of biker misfits), they’ll battle a bevy of monsters as they search for answers about Scout’s past...and struggle to keep the residents of Hawthorne Hollow safe from paranormal forces they don’t even know exist.

She’s more powerful than most witches; the years before, she was discovered abandoned outside of a fire department a blank slate.

The path in front of Scout is long and winding, but finally, she might have all the pieces she needs to uncover the truth.

This three-book omnibus includes: Bad to the Crone, No Crones About It, and No Crone Unturned.

The story had all it all. Narration not so much.

I don’t particularly like the narrator but the story was so good I had to stick with it. I want to get the next set but, trying to decide if I can withstand the narration’s. I loved her books very much. Story is different and has all kinds of magic. The lead is a character I found her t be highly entertaining.

Great Storyline

Love this author. She not only writes a great 3 book series here but has a wonderfully whimsical since of humor which made me smile throughout these 3 books. Narration was also superb and brought the characters to life. Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed and will be hooked from the start

Better the second time around

I gave this collection another chance and found it entertaining. The story is well written with engaging characters, but I fast forwarded a few times because the dialogue was annoying. I don't like the narrator for this story. She makes Scout sound like a middle age women instead of someone in her late 20s. However, the narration doesn't distract from the story. Overall, I enjoyed the story and will get the next collection.

Narrator sucks!

I had all I could do to finish the books. The narrator was dull and lifeless. I liked the author but will reserve buying another book based on her narrator.

a waste, poor reading and plot needs 0 star.

Got this because plot sounded interesting and book bundle. I was disappointed from the start. I don't know who is responsable for sound editing. Whomever should be fired. The support characters voices were strong. The MC's voice was very soft and weak. Had to keep raising and lowering volume level. Sometimes MC voice volume was so low, the support characters sounded like they were shouting. Then the plot. From chapter 1 it became rapidly obvious that this is a love story. A very poor love story at that. Come on, an entire small town female population swooning over one male? The females in question were all age groups. I wondered where were the male spouses, siblings and especially male parents of the teenage girls. He should've been watched closely based on the female behavior. Our MC sees this from the begining. She's suppossed to be a witch w some experience. Instead of wondering, why and what, and preparing, she falls under his spell. Then MC has all the behavior of a weak love starved female. All the emotional baggage that carries starts to manifest. The world building didn't really describe the city and surrounding area. Why was she needed to be sent there. No crime wave, no outbreak of paranormal or super natural deaths etc seemed to be happening to a high degree. The MC is given a run down shack. I could expect it to need some care. Nothing more then a good and time consuming cleaning w furniture replacement. She's given a shack, requiring major cleaning and repairs including roof repair. This is Michiican, not Texas, Arizona, New Mexico ect. Northern US gets signicantly more wet weather aka rain and snow and cold. She's told materials would be provided BUT she is responsible for labor. MC should have mounted her motorcycle left the area ASAP. She accepts the thing! In first few chapters MC and companion are attacked by a spriggan while walking a wooded trail. She claims to knowing nothing about what it is. Why didn't she read up on the areas potential hostile creatures? Then she and companion proceeds to walk on, not paying attention to the enviorment. Our MC then trips over a dead body lying partially on the trail. Then another person 'quietly approaches' them unawares. Stupid. Not nearly as stupid as MC moving in and not setting up minimal protective wards ect. Then a ghost pervert and possible zombie show up.
