I WAS EXPECTING GOOD & THEY GAVE ME GREAT
Ahhh and sigh... as another sexy Maverick Billionaire is taken off the market in a very addictive plot that has single Dad Matt falling for Ari - his son's super sweet and super sexy Nanny. Ari has been around the Mavericks for some time now and was taken under Daniel's wing but she's offered the job of a lifetime as a live in Nanny - living in an impressive mansion, looking after Noah the sweetest 5 yr old, at a salary to die for.... and all while getting to know, and drooling over, Noah's oh so hot and handsome Dad. Ari had gone through a terrible childhood which forced her into bad Foster Care situations... and, although that's left its mark, she's loving and ever hopeful of finding that missing piece in her life... family. Matt (and the rest of the Mavericks) have also had terrible childhoods - Matt is haunted by his past and still hears those long ago hurtful vicious taunts that his Father used to constantly toss his way.
Matt's a great Dad - he's kind, patient, loving and very protective over his precious son always wanting the very best for Noah and he seems to have found the perfect Nanny for Noah. Matt thinks Ari's such a joy to have around with her positive attitude, caring ways... and she's beautiful inside as well as out too - so there shouldn't be any problems right? Well, from the moment he first met Ari, he's been captivated by her and the sexual chemistry between them is getting intense - which he just can't have - so Matt mentally promises that his son's Nanny is strictly off limits (yeah right). Ari is loving her job but more and more she daydreams about Matt who is constantly surprising her with his gentle ways and understanding nature - but he's strictly off limits and anyway he's so handsome, hot and humble that he could have anyone he wants. However, she's seen the way he looks at her - and before she knows it Ari's comforting Matt, kissing him and spend one night of bliss in his bed - but by morning Matt's barriers are firmly back up. Despite this, the desire between them only heightens and intensifies so it's not long before resistance becomes futile.... but ahead there's angst, bitter self-loathing and broken hearts.
Loved loved loved this very enjoyable and addictive dual POV story that's filled with awesome characters, strained emotions, intense feelings and sexy scenes but hurtful memories from Ari and Matt's pasts try to steal their futures. Great secondary characters, a destructive ex and a long lost Brother also make appearances. But the accolades go to the writing team of Bella Andre and Jennifer Skully whose joint collaboration created such a sweet, sexy and sumptuous storyline which was brought to life by a very talented narrator who has my undying gratitude for her wonderful work on this.

Delicate and hot
Bella is a master mixing hotness with content, Matt and Ari has the right measure of both and they are a working project, looking for love and acceptance, even if they don't know upfront. They both have complicated pasts and after their first encounter started to struggle to understand how and why they need each so fiercely. I love this family and cannot wait to know about the other brothers happy ending.

GOOD, BUT NOT REALLY GOOD OR GREAT
Don't get me wrong, I adore Bella Andre and she is my go-to author when I want something less suspenseful and a bit on the lighter side, however, even though I thought the heroine was great, I thought Matt came off a bit weak (except in bed) and the plot was so much less dynamic and exciting than anything I have listened to by her and I believe I have everything of hers out in audio. The storyline was okay but didn't come close to living up to her normal standard of excellence.
Eva Kaminsky's narration was, as always, superb.

Great story BUT.....
I gave it a chance and was disappointed not for the story line but the narration- I got lost so many times not knowing which character was speaking and the third person thing got to me too. I would had loved if the male narrator would had join in. I kept going since I wanted to see what would happen next but I had to stop since the narration was bad. I will buy the book and read it myself.

Meh Meh Meh
I love contemporary romance books but this book was so boring I could barely finish it. As you know these types of books are pretty much fantasy! I found this book truly boring I finished it because I paid for it. I wish I had better things to say about the book but it really wasn't worth of credit.
