Convoluted Mystery
I enjoyed this convoluted mystery. The story had many twists and turns, and it was fascinating how the mystery resolved into a satisfactory conclusion. I enjoyed the protagonist, Dora Stephens, as she was bold, courageous, and compassionate. I am looking forward to more books with her as the central character. Cloey Kelly's narration was fine as her voice was pleasant. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

Female PI solves murder mystery
Dora witnesses a friend being hit by a car outside of a hospital. When she tries to get some information on her friend, the hospital records don't seem to match the circumstances that she knows to be true.
She shares information with her boyfriend, who is a detective and who is also working on the case.
Dora has access to tools like bugs, recording devices and disguises, which the police probably can't use. She also does some creative investigations.
There are plenty of potential bad guys and she sorts through all of the pieces to solve the case. This is an engrossing medical mystery/investigation.
I listened to the audio version. The narrator was good, and used different voices for the characters. However, the cadence was sometimes a little off.
I would recommend this book to adult readers.

A labyrinthine murder story
Received as an audio review copy from Story Origin, this is an honest review. Narrated nicely by Cloey Kelly delivers this wildly crazy mystery as Dora Stephens witnesses Sheila, a friend's aunt hit by a car as she crosses the street on one rainy evening. What's left behind in the woman's death is a convoluted story of who targeted Sheila and why. Unraveling the answers means for this private investigator will be doing unlawful things and sweetly lying to bring a killer to justice. Highly recommended.

Would have been a better read
I enjoy medical mysteries and the story was interesting. A woman staggers out of a hospital and walks into traffic. Good beginning. The mystery kept me guessing. The narrator was a little distracting She sounded too young for the main character and didn’t do the other characters vey well. The detective boyfriend sounded like he was reading a report some of the time. I think I would have enjoyed the story more and followed the characters better if I had read the book instead.

Was this death merely an accident?
Dora Stephens, a private investigator, is about to pick up a nurse, Sheila for a drink, when she witnesses her staggering out the hospital only to be run over by a car. Dora can’t believe this has been merely an accident, even though at first glance, the victim seems to have no enemies. “Has Sheila been given a large dose of Activan?”
The story is told in Dora’s voice, which makes it personal. Lies, drugs, betrayal, blackmail, and infidelity come into play, including Sheila’s secret affair with a surgeon. Did she have any rivals for the attention of her lover? Could jealousy be the reason for this murder? Can an antidote for it be found?
The suspenseful writing has its moments of humor to relieve the tension. “I intended… to plant a bug on him, though I didn’t have a clue where I would put one… Why didn’t men carry purses with them? Bugging women was so much easier.” Armed with a nurse’s uniform, a pair of oversized glasses, and a bob-styled auburn wig, Dora’s best weapon is her wits.
I enjoyed the crisp narration by Cloey Kelly, whose voice is young, fresh, and fleshes out the rhythm of the writing.
Five stars.

Murder mystery with comic relief.
Great read. Amurder mystery that will keep you turning pages til it is solved. Wonderful characters.Dora is a PI, but personally knows this victim. Smart. Sassy. She works her way thru all the clues. She is a bug expert. According to her police detective live in boyfriend, Tucker. I loved these two. He also work on this case. Their snappy dialogue had me smiling and giggling. No bad language and the sex was off screen. 5 stars.
I was gifted an Audible version of this book from the author through Story Origin.
I got use to the narrator, but she read very fast. Her expressions were appropriate, but I didn't care too much for her male voices. 3 stars.

A heart pounding medical thriller!
When Sheila, the aunt of her best friend, Maddie, staggers from the hospital into on-coming traffic and is killed, Dora Stephen’s investigative instincts scream the accident was murder. Someone wanted Sheila dead…but who…and why?
Author Inge-Lise Goss weaves a heart-pounding medical thriller with richly-drawn, believable characters, and page-turning suspense in Fatal Limit. This masterfully written storyline will keep you glued to your seat with mounting suspects as Dora unravels a mystery drenched in betrayal, lies, drugs, blackmail, and infidelity.
The narrator, Cloey Kelly, does a beautiful job of punctuating the thrills and chills.

A fast paced Medical Thriller
Fatal Limit by Inge-Lise Goss jumps right into action in the very first chapter with a woman stumbling from the hospital and being hit by a car. Was it an accident? Dora Stephens, a private investigator, witnessed the supposed accident and is quickly pulled into the case by her best friend, who is the niece of the victim.
Dora's boyfriend is a police detective. He does everything by the book and she completely ignores the law. She'll do whatever it takes to solve the crime as her list of suspects increases.
The guilty person sets up a trap to take care of the nosy private eyes. Will Dora discover the perpetrator before it's too late?
With all the twists and turns in the story, I had no idea who the culprit was until the very end. The narrator did a wonderful job in bringing the characters to life. Her perky voice was a good fit for Dora. She also did different voices for the other characters, making it an engaging audio book. Highly recommended.
