It's Really Not Bad!

I almost didn't get this based on the reviews. Dan Fogler was a little obnoxious, but didn't ruin it, and I thought the music was wonderful. Exactly as the description states, "A Behind the Scenes Documentary". It was informative, and I had to go back and watch the movie again.

Behind the scenes is fun

I enjoyed learning more about the making of a favorite movie / series of mine, however, I did feel like Dan Fogler (who I really did enjoy in the movie ) was often a little too much. He seemed to get caught up in his own performance and did not concentrate enough on the documentary aspect.
All in all, I liked the whole thing, learning more about how it was made was fascinating.

Mixed Review

For those who like to know behind the scenes information about the magic of movie making, this audiobook could be a delight. Dan Fogler's pitch perfect presentation is marred at times with his slap happy "impressions" that may be a hit with children too young to care. The montages of the people involved in the very essential production basics are interesting although, sometimes, one wishes for subtitles to help understand some of the thick accents. What is clear is that these are very talented people who love their work and are proud of their contributions to the Harry Potter film legacy. Their enthusiasm lifts the heart and made it worth the few times I had to rewind in order to understand their unique contributions to the movie.

Out of place

This addition to the Wizarding world shouldn't be. This is pretty much the DVD extras from the movie.

Read the reviews. Know before you buy!💖

I read before purchasing the book. I did, and it saved the day! This is NOT the novel I wanted. This IS an entertaining look behind the scenes. All the complaints were valid, unless you actually wanted an entertaining behind the scenes look. Ok, Mr Foglers’ voice becomes a bit tiresome at times, as is the long wait between chapters. But, I enjoyed it overall! Now where is the Novel??!!

very entertaining

I think if anybody else had narrated this book it would have fallen flat. The narration was perfect the guest appearances by the celebrities was a wonderful insight into how they feel about the movie and the characters and I thoroughly found this entertaining. If you are a fan of the series at all, I suggest listening to this wonderful behind-the-scenes peek at the crimes of Grindelwald.
