Deteriorating vs At Your Best

I really liked the wording used in this book. It talked about being your best as a 4 and being your worst as a 4 with language that felt accepting and I felt seen!

Great book! Especially love the tips at the end. Buying on Amazon now! I need this book in addition to our library!

Enneagram Personality Types

So pleased to have this. Eventually an Enneagram top I feel I can give anybody. I keep sending out copies. Chestnut and Paes are not just experts, in this book they provides both an introduction to this world and an executive summary of sorts.

unnecessarily repetitive

There are better resources on the enneagram out there. I wonder if the book is written as a bunch of visual graphs and tables, because it is strangely repetitive in a bewildering way. I found myself becoming impatient as it seemed to be trying to fill space to seem more informative. The narration also struck me as odd and unnatural.

Everybody should be reading these books!

After discovering my enneagram type, this book was an incredible tool to help me deep dive into the type 4 personality type. It gave me a better understanding of who I am and why I do certain things and it gives me the tools to improve in the areas that I tend to struggle with. I am excited to listen to the other types after I learn what my friends’ and family’s types are.

Good work by Mari !

Amazing method to achieve the enneagram so we can all relate to our types and types of others.

Should have asked a type 4…

I gave this book more than a fair chance. If ever you need an example of how to convey a thought in more than 10 different ways, this book is for you! And congratulations to the narrator for getting a job in narration after everyone told him, “not in a hundreds years!” Because of his robotic manner of speaking combined with his unnatural intonations. Future note: don’t read books aloud like someone just won a game show.

Decent Content, overly repetitive, terrible narration

As someone getting started with the Enneagram, the information in this book was helpful, but it is overly repetitive, and this narration was absolutely terrible. Robotic, with all kinds of weird emphasis.
