About this listen

A sexy fake relationship rom-com stand-alone written by a duo of two best-selling authors.

Luca Bianco is a jerk. There I said it.

He thinks he’s so suave and sexy, walking around in his paramedic uniform stretched out by all his hard muscles and saving lives every day. I swear he thinks every woman in the world would kill for a chance to be with him.

Men like Luca are good for one thing only - a one-night stand - not commitment. I don’t care if my friend did pay good money at a charity bachelor auction for me to go on a date with him, I refuse to do it.

That is until Luca offers me a deal I can’t refuse, and I agree to be his pretend fiancé. The heat that’s simmered between us for a decade ignites and I’m not sure even Luca will be able to kickstart my heart after I call code blue.

What’s that saying? Love is blind?

Not true. I can see this head-on collision coming a mile away.

Fake Engagement/Hate to love

Luca is the youngest Bianco brother and may be my favorite of the brothers. Luca is an EMT and hasn't settled down. He decides he needs to make his mother happy before her surgery by being engaged. He needs someone who won't end up with feelings at the end of the fake engagement. He asks Lauren, who is friends with his brother's girlfriends. Lauren needs a date for the office Christmas party to show her boss that she's taken. Everyone is taken by surprise by their engagement because they always acted like they hated each other. Once Luca and Lauren begin spending time together, their true feelings begin to come out. They knew each other in high school when Lauren went out with Luca's best friend. Unknown to Lauren, Luca always had feelings for her but kept them buried and she finds that she has feelings, too. I really enjoyed this fake engagement/hate to love relationship book. Piper Rayne has done it again with making a trio of brothers romantic heroes. I can't wait to see what they write about next.

My Thoughts on Engaged to the EMT

Piper Rayne continues to be one of my favorite author duos. They write stories that absorb you and make you love the characters. They give you men that rank high on the book boyfriend list by the time you finish the story if not sooner. They give you leading ladies that hold their own and are so multi-faceted. Engaged to the EMT was the newest story that fit their excellent mold. Luca might have been the baby of the family, but he was just as great a guy as his brothers. Lauren met and surpassed every expectation I had from reading about her prior to this.

I was so happy to finally see the tension that has been building with every book previously between Luca and Lauren finally come to a head. They were a great example that it's not always just opposites that attract. Sometimes a shared interest or friends can be the spark to light a pretty fantastic flame.

I can only hope that Piper Rayne has no intentions of stopping any time soon because everyone one of their books have been a must read. I look forward to any and everything they have coming up next.

The narrators on this did a fantastic job. While I haven't heard much by Kylie Stewart and Eric Rolon, I would happily listen to more.

Entertaining

This is the third book in the series and I loved it. This is an enemies to lovers story line that kept me riveted from the first to the last chapter. Both Kylie Stewart and Eric Rolon, the narrators are new to me but they did a good job bringing the story to life for me.
Piper Rayne is a relatively new author to me and why on earth that is I have no idea. Having absolutely loved Crushing on the Cop (book 2 in the series) I immediately jumped at the opportunity to read Engaged to the EMT.
Luca Bianco and Lauren Hunt have always had a love/hate relationship and yet anyone else can see that these two have intense chemistry that absolutely sizzles when they interact.
It is impossible for Lauren to avoid Luca as her best friends are with his brothers. When Luca ask her to be his fake fiancee, Lauren agrees. However, neither of them expect that the attraction is going to explode and that a fake engagement will morph into real feelings which will put both their hearts at risk.
Will Luca and Lauren take the leap from fake to real or will it all explode? One click and find out.
I loved how all the Bianco men are with their mother but the relationship that Luca has is just heart melting and the camaraderie Luca shares with his brothers had me laughing out loud at times.
This is one of those series that I am really sad to see end but I believe Piper Rayne have saved the best for last.

My favorite Bianco Brothers book!!

Engaged to the EMT was the Bianco Brothers book I have been dying for! It’s filled with hot, sweet, and sexy surprises that I couldn’t help but revisit multiple times!

Piper Rayne knows how to turn a man that I would dismiss into one that makes me swoon! Luca Bianco is cocky, a bit childish, when he’s in the mood to be...or so I thought. He is intelligent and capable, and a man with a huge heart that’s sweet, caring, loving, and gentle. And the way he is with Lauren? Oh, my heart! Lauren… I love, love, LOVE her passion, her strength, her love for her chosen family, and her fighting spirit! I adored how she fought with Luca! The sparks! Oh, the sparks! I just knew they’d be perfect together! And the moment when her heart broke? She made mine break along with hers. Even with the fight in her, I loved her vulnerable parts, too.

As for the performances, they really brought this book to life! I loved every single minute! If Engaged to the EMT wasn’t already my favorite Blue Collar Brothers Book, their performance would have clinched it. The humor and passion, both the sexy and fighting ones, really came through and I absolutely loved it!

Really great book

Really enjoyed the end of this trilogy about the three brothers. I was excited to listen to Lucas story and it didn’t disappoint. And the narrator are always amazing!! Highly recommend this trilogy.
