En répondant par l'affirmative à la majorité de ces questions, vous êtes peut-être un empathe. Un empathe peut ressentir physiquement, émotionnellement ou intuitivement ce que les autres ressentent. Les personnes empathiques sont extrêmement sensibles aux émotions de ce qui se passe autour d'elles et peuvent souvent comprendre les autres sur le plan émotionnel. Dites-moi si cela vous ressemble : vous regardez une comédie, qu'il s'agisse d'une émission ou d'un film, en compagnie de votre ami, mais celui-ci traverse une période difficile et est peut-être déprimé.
Soudain, vous vous sentez déprimé, alors que vous étiez en train de rire ou que vous vous sentiez plutôt bien. Si vous pouvez vous identifier à cette situation, vous êtes peut-être un empathe. Vous pouvez également être sensible à d'autres aspects de ce qui se passe autour de vous, comme les images, les odeurs, les sons et d'autres éléments physiques ; être empathe ne se limite pas à être sensible aux émotions de ceux qui nous entourent.
Dans cet ouvrage, nous passerons en revue les avantages et les défis liés au fait d'être empathe. Nous verrons comment nous aider à récupérer et à nous ressourcer lorsque nous supportons trop le stress de quelqu'un d'autre ou que nous sommes dépassés par ce qui se passe.

Les narcissiques excellent dans l'art d'attirer les gens à eux ; ils débordent de confiance et connaissent les outils qui leur permettent de vous faire entrer dans une relation avec eux. Puis, lorsque vous commencez à voir leurs vraies couleurs, les narcissiques sont prêts à faire tout ce qu'ils veulent. Les narcissiques feront tout ce qu'ils peuvent pour prouver qu'ils sont les meilleurs des meilleurs parce qu'ils sont coincés dans une fausse image d'eux-mêmes. Ils profiteront des gens et les utiliseront pour les aider à atteindre leurs objectifs, même si cela blesse ceux qui les ont soutenus et se sont souciés d'eux.
